Leave a CommentOn July 5th 2016 A guy named George called with an Indian accent and said he was from the IRS and I committed tax fraud. I knew better since I have a CPA and a tax attorney that the IRS works directly with. I will be reporting him for fraud and reporting it to his wireless company "USA MOBILITY WIRELESS, INC. " According to him I will be arrested in 45min. The IRS will never call you!
This was on July 5, 2016. The IRS will never call you!
I received a call from this number saying I committed tax fraud. I knew better because I have a CPA and a tax attorney that the IRS has direct contact with. He has an accent like from India. I will be reporting him and reporting to his wireless carrier "USA MOBILITY WIRELESS, INC. " He is a fraud. According to him the police are going to be here in 45 min to arrest me.
I experienced the same IRS call. As an FYI...the IRS does ALL communication via US Mail so they have a paper trail for their records.
Sounded like a recording but lady said she was from IRS and I needed to call immediately due to thethe issue being time sensitive. Never said what the issue was.
Called left number of voicemails then claimed I was being audited by the IRS for $4,000, gave me a case number and all.
Said same as Elaine. I even checked with the IRS website
Received a call from this number and the voicemail was very hard to understand. Called num & it was an Indian guy "Adam Smith" that said he was with the IRS. Said I had been committing tax fraud. Asking for $9,500 or I would be arrested by local authorities. VERY AGRESSIVE! Told me I couldn't tell anyone who I was speaking to or what was going on. He did not have my name or any correct info on me
Same as below. Called back and some Indian guy answered saying "This is the IRS how can I help you." Then I ***g up.
Same message as Elaine's; return call to IRS hot line before immediate action is taken a***nst you. Sounded like automated call, barely decipherable. Ended message saying good bye and take care.
