I got the same call.  I told them to "f" off!  It might have beena little more credible if he spoke better english..

Just received a call from this number from someone who was reading a script that was barely coherent with a strong india accent. Upon calling the number,I immediately asked where I was calling and they asked me to identify myself. They would not identify who they were until I told them my name. Was extremely rude and threatening. This is definitely fraud.

I just received a call from this number leaving an "urgent" message.  They called my work number immediately after and I told them to get that number off their call list because it was a business then ***g up.  They called back a***n, and a***n, and a***n, etc. (about 8 times in a row).  I finally had my boss (the President of the company) s**** answering and they would just **** up.  I just called the number they left on my cell (714-333-2952) asking who they were.  They would not answer any questions but wanted to to verify my social security number.  I'm so sure!

I just received the same kind of message from a men with a very strong accent, he nevered mentioned where he was calling from and why, just that I needed to call him regarding a urgent matter and I would be in trouble if I don't he also said that he feels sorry for me.  You know this is truly a fraud and these people are true con artist, You hear all kinds of noise in the background, and also, you can't get a direct answer out of these people, let in go, He also said either I or my attorney need to contact them. My attorney said its a waste of time, because if you threating to have your attorney call them. Its busy or they have moved on to another number to continue to harass people.  Tell them next time they call they you are taping their call, and you would seek a investgator to get information on them, and please don't call you at home or work. And you demand a debt validation letter from them for this debt they said you owe, and tell them you demand and address to send them a debt validation letter if they won't send you one.  Either way you won't get either. They are illegal and they won't give or tell you anything. Bottom line, when you tell people like this not to call you at all, and you s**** throwing around your rights as a consumer under the law they will stop calling you. But the downside is they will s**** a***n in another 30-60 days with a new number and another person.  Just keep telling them the same thing whats your address, and I want information in writing within 30 days of this telephone conversation. Mostly, file a complaint with the FTC. It matters.

I received several calls from this number by a man claiming to be Jack Smith and he told me I owed $800.00 from an internet payday load from CashNet from Dec. 2007.  When I pressed for details, he became very rude and began threatening me.  DO NOT SEND MONEY! This is a scam.  I contacted the proper authorities and I hope they find these people and through them in jail.  They use many numbers and names but just **** up and if possible, block the number because this is just a scam.
