If you're getting tons of unwanted calls on your cell phone, a good thing to do is simply save the unwanted caller in your contacts (I save all my debt collectors under "Boo1, Boo2, Boo3, etc.) and set the ring tones for those callers as "No ring". That seemed to shut Linda from Capital One right up :-).

Constantly calling but no message is left. I screen my calls.

714-374-8035 keeps calling at odd hours of day w woman's voice saying opportunities w Capital One. I have called Capital One at another 800 number and told them to stop calling to no avail. If anyone knows how to stop them from calling my cell please post. What is the number to place cell on a NO CALL LIST. They also use another number to do same thing but did not keep that number. Its another area code entirely but same voice.

First Call 8am, 3:01 pm, 6:33pm, 8:13pm, I received these calls today. Not sure why. I don't owe Cap 1 anything and they won't stop calling me. I registered my cell number on the National Do Not Call Registry. What is the deal with these people?????

called 2x on Memorial Day morning (5/25/09), woke my whole house up it did. No voicemail. From the other comments it appears to be Capital One, however I made an online payment last week, was not delinquent prior to that.

I received 2 calls from phone # 714 374 8035. Calls came on Sunday and Monday (Memorial Day) at 8:11 and 8:13 in the morning. No messages were left on my voice mail. I have caller ID and traced the # via the internet. The calls are from a collection agency****ociated with CapitalOne. I would gladly return the call if the callers would identify themselves. However I don't know why they are calling me. My accounts are up to date.

I answered, thinking it was a local call, but it was Capital One.
