This Dan Durbin called me today at work, threatening me.  He had lots of information about me which is not alarming because I know this can be retrieved just about anywhere these days.  What did s****le me, however, is 1)  his beligerent accusations that were not only threatening but also harassing and abusive; 2) the fact that I know absolutely nothing about this debt.  He threatened me with arrest, tribunal proceedings, etc.  Geez, I thought his next threat would be to send one of his henchmen down to beat whatever he thinks I owe out of me.  Dan Durbin must be stopped.  What he is doing is illegal as heck.

did not personally receive the call. this number called my place of business claiming they were headed down to serve me papers. i was not at work (thanks to our current economy) and they left this number, my supposed case number(doesn't exist), and the name Dan.

Harassing rude collection agency. They didn't even seem legit. The guy on the phone tried to act real concerned but in reality he was only trying to intimidate me into a debt that wasn't mine and his added legal fees..He got loud and very belligerant when I told him I wasn't paying anything and he should go ahead and take me to court. What a ****! Used the name Dan Durbin.

Called me about credit account I dont think I ever had. After I ***g up twice on him for yelling at me, He used the soft sell and tried to tell me that he was ex military and I had someone in my family open this account up and I had been making payments on it and stopped in 2004. (Not True) Was kind of evasive in talking and his story constantly c****ed. In the end he was trying to get a settlement from me. Tried to act very helpful but I caught him in many lies. 1. They had made an inquiry to my credit history.  2. I was receiving statements on this account 3. I had to make a decision within 24 hrs or be sued. Once I presented to him the facts I had come up with thru the various phone calls his demeanor went straight back to the aggressive yelling nature he originally s****ed with. I told him I could sue him for the way he was calling me and he should go ahead and proceed with whatever legal action he was going to take a***nst me. He got even more irrate and threatened to use UCMJ Articles a***nst me. I told him he was not to call my mother anymore and I would be reporting him. He got so upset that he yelled a little more and then ***g up. Watch out for this bu***hit agency. The "agents" name was Dan Durbin and he used one of his cronies to get information from my mother. I'm thinking of suing them.

Belligerent shady fraudulent collection agency. Uses intimidation tactics and threatens you with law suits and garnishment of wages..Got angry and ***g up after I found a lot of inconsistencies in the story they were telling me..

Yes, I owe the debt, but I'm in the process of filing bankruptcy so I'm trying to include every old bill and this person harrassed me.  First he tried ****ering me up by saying he's been through my area and had family here.  I told him I'm in the process of filing bk and he asked where I was in the process.  Like a *****, I told him.  He said that I don't qualify to file bk and that he's going to fight this.  Oh and that they are doing a summons, a wage verification and that they were going to s**** taking the money out of my check. He also said that my boss agreed to go to the summons (he didn't say hearing) but that wasn't true.  My boss came to me immediately when they called and told me his thoughts on who and what they were.  I don't know how they found out where I worked but I haven't ever had a collector call me at work.  At the end of the convo, he said he didn't care about people like me.  I returned the compliment and ***g up.
