Leave a CommentJust got a call from David Whitehouse, from that number. He left me a voicemail and made it clear what his name is and how to call him back to schedule an interview, but didn't say where he was from. That's just unprofessional, and after seeing these posts, I now see it was intentional! Thanks for these warnings. He is now saved in my phone as "Don't Answer! It's David Whitehouse"
Got a call just tonight from this same guy (david whitehouse) at around 6pm. First of all, he doesn't tell me what company he's from or what position he's referring to that I might have applied for. All he said in his vmail was, "I'm calling you in for an interview". Secondly, who the heck calls someone on a Friday night after normal business hours (6pm) to set up an interview? Wouldn't you expect an interview call before the end of normal business hours (usually before 5pm), and not on a Friday so that you would****entially have your interview the next day and not have to wait till Monday?Thirdly, who the heck calls someone for a****ential interview from their cell phone? The vmail sounded su****ious, so I googled this number and it lead me here, typing all this up. Several months prior, I went to a World Financial Group interview (not from david, but from someone else), and the guy attempted to use intimidation tactics to get me to pay $100 up front for me to s**** working for the company. In other words, he attempted to get inside my head with greed by stating so****ing to the lines of: "what's wrong with spending $100 right now when you'll be making six figures in about 1 yr". So then I asked, how I can possibly be making that much money, in so little time, with no experience in so called "financial services"?.........But anyway, I can go on and on with venting but to make a long story short, Borg above is right. Just google World Financial Group and you'll see scam all over the place.
Yep - just got the same call referencing same information. Also got several others trying to take advantage of people looking for work. Just creating a reason for people to call back. I can tell you that all of the legit call backs for interviews I have gotten always list the name of the company and person's position.Unless you find interest in sales, or commission based work that involves hiring others that will get you a percentage of their sales, it is not worth a call back.
Caller said he was David Whitehouse from World Financial GroupHe said he seen my resume online and wanted to set up an interview for a jobI do not do the kind of work that would fit a business called that. When I googled business name it says SCAM...RIP OFFI am not going to go to interview
