I received the recording saying that they reached my number in error. I blocked the number, and then reported the number to the FCC.

Call came from 714-991-5420 on caller ID on 5-7-2010.  When I answered, the line clicked off.  I tried to dial the number, but recording said, "This number is no longer in service." We live in MD.

I received a call and reported it to Bright House, my phone provider.  The rep said that it was a collection agency.

Just got a call from this number that said they called the number by mistake.

I live in St Augustine, FL and got the same message about "dailing my number in error".  I called it back from my cell phone and the phone company has a recording stating "that this is not a working number".  Well how is it not?  I just got a call from it??????

Received call from this same number, but was a Linda stating based on our margage activity they can lower our interest rate and this offer will only be good for three days. It's bogus all the way around...1.caller ID: unknown name 2. a time limit to hurry your decision, 3. mostly because we DON'T have a morgage.

This number left a voicemail with a female recorded voice that said based on our mortgage activity, they were authorized to offer us a lower interest rate, blah blah blah  Sounds like a mortgage solicitation.

I received the same recorded message "We have dialed your number in error."  So much for my Do Not Call list - I get 3 - 4 phishing calls a day.

Just received a call from this number and it sounded like a recording...there was a pause before the man's voice came one.  Same recording as stated in other posts.  "We reached this number in error...."Caller ID - unknown

Rreceived this call and on the 21st and upon answering,  the recording was, "we apologize, we have reached this number in error."   I used my cell phone to call that number and got a recording saying, "his number is no longer in service or has been disconnected"!

Just the same call....This can't be good....

Same thing. Sounded like a recorded message...but maybe not. I held on silently until it clicked off.

Same thing here...just received this call and on answering got "we apologize we have reached this number in error."  So****ing fishy...or phishy...for sure.

They left a message on the answering ma****e saying they dialed number by mistake - sounded like a recording.

I answered the phone and got an imediate message "we apologize your number for dialed by mistake" phishing scam?
