oh yes, leaving a wedding in Wis. got hit head on by someone, lots of s***ches, couldn't talk well....failed brethalyzer test, in holding cell at jail, don't TELL anyone, but call my lawyer at 715 316 4800 asap! I will be at the lawyer's office waiting! HA! in jail, but at lawyer's office? I checked my calls, and 406 375 4000 was where it originated from!
SCAM!!! Same story as many here already reported -- called my Mom saying grandson was in car accident in Wisconsin, had been at wedding reception so had alcohol on breath so he was arrested and pleaded with her to get him out of jail. Gave this number as the attorney (715-316-4800) -- really slick as the caller had a Case Number, etc. etc. Thank God my Mom called me first . SCAM SCAM SCAM
SCAM!!! Same story as the others. First call came from the Lincoln County Correctional Facility 402-441-1900 in Ne***ska claiming a grandson in jail needing money . Then this number calls wanting the same thing. I don't have details of the conversations because the calls were made to an elderly person.
Supposed grandson called saying arrested after leaving a wedding reception. "Attorney" then calls to say that bond is $8500. If money is wired, bond can be posted asap and grandson will not have to spend another night in holding. Gave non existent county, requested cash, called 3 times, and took advantage of the elderly. Daughter intervened and reported to authorities.
Attempted scam. Claimed to be grandson involved in an accident and needed money for bail. Person identifying himself as Brian Murphy claimed to be an attorney. TOTAL FRAUD.
SCAM! Claimed to be public defenders office. Told my elderly grandmother that her great grandson had been in an auto accident. Even claimed to be him saying her hurt his face in the accident so he could barely talk. They claimed it was a 5000 bond and he was arrested. I returned the phone call and asked what city they were calling from. The man would not answer and got really rude.
Big scam trying to obtain money from my 92 year old grandmother. Simply disgraceful. Fake story about me being involved in an auto accident with ****** injuries so my voice sounded different
