I keep getting a call from this number and w***ver your trying to call doesn't live and I don't know who the person is. Please stop calling me. Thank you!

I have received calls from this number twice now, in the past two days, both of which I received whilst asleep, so I did not answer. I got the same voicemail twice, a man's automated voice saying to call an 866 number about this urgent matter, and states the name of who he is representing as American Capital****ociates. reading other peoples' horror stories about run-ins with these people, I'm kind of worried I will continue to be harassed with phone calls at odd hours of the day and night.

These people are harassing me with some uninnteligble name "that this call is intended for." They obviously have the wrong number.

These people called me for the 1st time almost exactly a year ago with last 4 of my ssn, where I worked at the time I "got a loan from Advanced America." I agreed to going to court to figure out where it came from because I have NEVER stepped foot, nor been on any web site, into an establishment like that. So they were to send me so****ing in the mail stating when my court date was and what all the charges were. Never heard from them after that until this morning and let me tell you, the ***^ hit the fan!! All I will say because waaayy to much happened is these people are HILARIOUS! I am BEGGING for you guys to call my phone a***n, BEGGING. I do NOT exist in Advance Americas' system and dont say I wouldn't because they "sold my account" because the MANAGER told me I would still come up and it would show "SOLD." So please, try me a***n. AMERICAN CAPITAL****OCIATES is a joke, HA HA HA! You THOUGHT you were gonna get some money from me and got mad that I shut you down! Manager, "TRAVIS CASEY" , told me never to call them back because I was requesting information, guess I was asking to many questions. What collection agency tells you never to call back. Really? Don't call back and I owe you some money?! SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! The address 1212 Abbott Rd Suite B Lackawanna, New York 14218 is a freakin GARAGE. You will NOT find office suites at this address. COLLECTOR X...you should be careful defending so****ing like this. I understand you guys THINK theres no way of tracking who you guys are and where your coming from, believe me, it's NOT impossible. Basically, this number will harass you and try to scare you by stating they have a civil suit in the county where you live. The problem is, they are a debt collection agency try to collect their money. THERE IS NO LAW SUIT...They don't have the authority to notify you of a pending court date, the acutal county court does. So, that's when you know it's a lie. If you notice they say they are calling on behalf of a group of attorneys, but they fail to mention the name of the actual lawyer. They try to intimidate you by using false information. And when, and only when you finally agree to a settlement, they take your money and don't clear your account. They are liars, and basically just trying to make their commission. Be very cautious of these individuals, and like I said, they are a COLLECTIONS AGENCY....NOT LAWYERS. A lawyer will not waste their time and money trying to collect a misely 700.00. A collections agency will. Be in mind, they are all just like car salesman. If they don't sell a car, they don't make an income. Same way with these guys, if they don't collect so****ing, they make nothing....

well if you verify w/ them who you are, even by date of birth, they may have the wrong person entirely...would you want your personal information divulged to another person??

Got a call stating that they wanted to talk to about a breech of contract, and that the proceedings would begin in Philadelphia county, thought it was weird

I've gotten two calls from this lady who wouldn't tell me what it was regarding without verifying my idenity she has called at least twice since then
