These people have been harrassing us for months now about a bill that we paid off almost two years ago. We told them that we have the confirmation number and the collection agency we dealt with to pay it and they will not leave us alone. They keep threatening court and saying that the calls are "urgent" causing me much distress. They will not accept the proof, nor will they send us anything that confirms that we even owe this money. I am about ready to report them to the BBB.

That is the office of Joe Carson. He actually helped me stay out of court. He works for a company called First Point Acquistions. I had an outstanding credit card debt and received the paper work that I was going to be sued. I have been out of work for 2 years and have been on disability. I have dealt with rude debt collectors, but Mr. Carson was very nice and understanding. He was able to get my debt to about 40 cents on the dollar and let me make small affordable monthly payments on it. I think before trash talking him on the internet I would atleast verify who he is by calling the company and asking about your case.

Calls everyday to my parents house, whom I haven't lived with in decades. Throws around lawyers and courts and subpoenas etc. Typical trash, bottom feeding debt-collector.
