They would not provide a valid federal tax identification number, w9, or lawyer's current and valid license.  My attorney is filing a counter suite for harassment at this time with the New York attorney generals office.  I will keep posted and also a class action is pending as we speak for invasion of privacy, failure to disclose debt collection information, and for do not call violation.  Please contact your attorneys to file counter suite.

Got a message on my work phone regarding some case number for my wife . Not sure how they got my work # . Called them and the lady just said*****o . I ask if this was Davis and Clark she said yes . I asked if this was a collection agency she said no . I wouldnt give her any info cuz I don't know who the***** they are . So I asked if they were a law office and she said yes , got all irritated and said why do you keep asking me that ( I asked her once ) . Seemed fishy from the beginning . I'm not giving them any info and  i'm gona do some looking into this .

They have called my work numerous times harassing me. Today s****ing they were with the local Sheriff's Office and were to serve me today before 5pm. After they called I called local Sheriff's Office and they had never heard of the name she said she was Nina Avery. She called back at my work a***n a few hours later very rude & yelling and before she ***g up she said she was coming to my work with the warrant to arrest me. I a***n called the local Sheriff's office a***n they searched their system there was no warrant and they do not know that name. And said my employer could place a trace on the line so they can charge then with harassment but my work won't so hopefully they will stop soon. Because this is a major disruption in the work day, I'm afraid to answer the phone this lady is very rude and is falsely identifying herself as working for the local (small town) Sheriff Office! When she called today wouldn't even tell me why she was calling. But left several messages on my cell with different #s to call

They also did not use the debt collection disclaimer anytime during the call. I didn't think about it at the time, but it makes sense now.

Got a call from this number on my personal business line which not even my family has. They identified themselves as head paralegals working for a company named Davis & Clark. They claim I skipped out on a payday loan which is paid in full this week. They claim to be filing a case a***nst me in Court. When I informed them that the debt was paid, they transferred me to a payment processing center to make payment or get sued. They wanted credit card info. I contacted the original owner of the debt they claim to represent and traced the bill to it's current owner. I was informed this was a scam. They claim to have sent a certified letter but I have not received one. Don't give your info to these people. It's a scam. I was told to file a complaint with the Attorney general on this matter which I am doing.
