I received a text from the supposed landlord of this address being listed for rent for $2400/month. From this phone number (716) 468-8001. i also used the service "beenverified" to see if the phone number was attached to scams, it wasn't, but they were GPS located in NY. They asked me to send money through zelle or PayPal to process the background checks. This is the text sent: "My wife said do you have PayPal or zelle so you can make the payment of the processing application fee, then we can get s****ed on your application and if you get approved, me and my wife will take the house off market for you and set up a date to meet and finalize the deal." I stated I preferred to make payment through a bank due to scammers. and got this reply: "You should wait till the current tenant move out before applying we have a lot of people trying to apply already once it's still available we are open to work with anyone"

This phone number contacted me about a rental property and asked for payment electronically without meeting in person, or even viewing the property. I believe this to be a scammer since once I offered to make payment through a bank in person they told me to wait until the current tenant moved out in a week.
