I have been receiving threatening messages from an "officer Ray Martin" from Bureau of Criminal Investigation at #719-286-0497. He has a heavy Indian accent. He has been calling my work, which is a hospital, and my cell. He only wants me to verify my SS# and I refuse and he gets angry and shouts over me and threatens me with jail!! My Supervisor at work has even talked to him and told him to stop calling me there but it hasn't helped. He is very rude and has called be 10 times in 5 minutes.I also had a bogus check go through my checking account and had to close out my account I have had for almost 8 years!! How is he getting our information and what makes him or them STOP? This is crazy and why can he not be tracked down?

My son received a call on his cell phone from a male stating he is Officer Roger Lawson with the Bureau of Criminal Investigations.  I then received a call from the same subject, with a very heavy indian accent and completely broken and incorrect grammar, stating to immediately call him back regarding "serious allegations" regarding my adult daughter.  I work in law enforcement and told my son to not call them back, and if they call him a***n let them know he is filing harrassment charges if they call a***n. Although I can't confirm they are a debt collector, I am really concerned that some people will fall for their aggressive tactics and give out their information.

I received a called today at 10:45 asking about case Jeanette he gave me a # 716-541-00 he said to ask for sheriff Danny Smith.I called the number and told him I didn't know the case and he sounded   foreign.

My wife recieved a call from 716-541-0015 and the gentalman stated his name was Mike Johnson and that my wife owed $300 for advance that she never recieved. I asked the gentalman when was it given he stated I can't tell you that it would cost me my job. I got a print out from the bank then called the corporate office and found out that their was no deposit placed in my wife"s account.

I received a call from this number by someone named Angie Wilson saying that i have a criminal case on my social.. i never called the number back just checked the listing when i found these postungs.. the question is how did this agency get my number and whats funny is the number that showed up on the caller id is 0000 and they called like five times.and then left a message

My brother received a call from 716-541-0015 from someone with an accent who goes by the name "***d Armstrong". He said that he works for BCS and that he  told my brother that he was trying to reach me and that it was very important. I've heard of BCI, but what is BCS? I listened to the message and it said that if I didn't respond, I could be locked up. He did not leave a badge number or anything, he told my brother that I had all the information and that it was urgent that I call him back. (What information?)I'm not going to respond and they can kiss my "A". They all sound alike, but they have been calling my house and leaving messages, but they don't never leave there name and they sound like they are reading a script.

Today I rcvd a vm from a gentleman by the name of "Jack Gates" who has been calling me and calling me claiming that if I don't return the call he can no longer hold the file at his desk and he will turn this over to the courts.   I work for a collection company and what they are doing is in violation of every FDCPA law there is out there.   I am going to tell them the next time they call me that I have spoken with my attorney and have every intention of suing them for violating my rights regarding this law.  If they want to continue to persue me, I will press charges for harrassment.

Got a call from this number today, thick accent stating he was officer Roger Gibson from the BCI legal Department, stating I have criminal alligations a***nst my name and my ss, not to disreguard. To call him back today, the number came up on my phone is 34951240011, but gave me this 7155410051 to call backon, what the***** is going on with these people and why cant they be stopped.

I am up to date with all my loans. It is some type of scam. I believe I scared him off when I told him that I spoke to my lawyer and my lawyer told me that what he was doing was illegal. After that he stated that everything was ok and that I didn't have to worry about anything. He had a thick foreign accents, so did the female that answered the call that I returned. My greatest concern about this is that he knew my name, address, cell and work number, ss# and God knows what else. He even left a message at work stating the nature of his call. Very rude, unproffessional and surely illegal.

Got a call from Officer Nancy Jones need to call her right away because I owe them money.  She was going to have me arrest by the Sherriff deparment.  She can't even speak english well.  When you it says ext 3021 plese leave your message.  Like***** if I'm going to leave them a message.

Some one from the number called and threaten to have me locked up telling me I needed a lawyer and I needed to go to closest court house.  He had a Indian accent telling me I owe 1,111.00 and a ssettlement would be 774..  asking to fax him informtion  Anyone who gets a call from this number do not give out any information.l  I even asked for a validatin of debt and he s****ed loud talking me.

I recd a call today from 716-541-0015, saying that I have 3 criminal charges a***nst because I did not pay back my payday loans and that i owe $794.00 and that if i didn't pay by 5pm today that i would be sued and sent to court. First of all the message i got i could not understand at all.. The officer his name is Roger  said that i have to fax over a copy of my license to him with my credit card information saying that i agree t pay this amount today and he said unless i receive this from you i can not hold your file any longer and some criminal charges will be charged a***nst you. I told him i would like all of this in writing before i do anything he said they are not allowed to send anything in writing and that if he did that means that i was saying that i need a lawyer present hahaha, these people are definitely scam artists and want to just steal your information, i am reporting them to the better business bureau. Also Officer Roger told me that he needed to speak to his attorney to make sure its okay to hold the file and he said that he told the attorney that i am a genuine person and good hearted and that i wanted to settle the debt, that put made me realize that this was not legit.What a bunch of ****, they need to learn how to speak English because they do not even make sense. I was asking questions about the supposedly company that I owe money to and he was like its a affiliation company, not genuine people.

This guy needs to learn how to speak English, #1 and #2, form sentences. "you need to return me call"....do not listen to these people.  **** up on them or don't answer.  Caller ID #916-395-0000, Their division hotlines #716-541-0015.  What a joke.

I received a call from this number and the person on the other line said he was officer steve anderson, he has all my personal information and said that I took out a loan for $794.00 which I never did. How can we stop these phone calls from coming in . I am going to call better business bureau to see if they are listed with them. I kept on asking him questions and all he wanted was for me to verify my social security number and I told him that I would not. I told him that he is all over the internet about this being a scam and he said that it is not true and he insisted that I verify my social security number.

I received a call from this "Officer Marie Phyllis" Badge 78645 from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations in New York. My question is, how can you work for any company or state agency and can barely speak understandable english. After I just Googled this phone number that she left and called me back from and read what these readers just posted, I will be calling authorities and filing charges a***nst this person for calling and harrassing me at work and for lying and impersonating a goverment employee.Thank you for all that has posted this information

I too have someone calling me from 7165410015 threatening criminal charges if I dont agree to repay the loan by 1pm est.  I was unable to complete paying due to some medical bills.  There is someone with Indian dialect by the name of Officer Frank Harris which is not an Indian name. I know they can take me to court to collect a debt but can they truly file criminal charges?  They claim there are 3 criminal charges filed a***nst me under my name and soc. If so couldn't i verify this with my local police dept.Any help would be appreciated.

I also received the same call from this number about owing a debt due to a fradulant accoutn with a payday loan. I've done paydoan loans and if in fact I had one it would have been paid by now. This company calls 7 months later stating  I owe money, but cant give me no kind of information in writing. Also, they did have a accent, and they spoke so quick couldnt understand a word that they were saying. Its been several days now and have not heard from them; talking about i need to get my lawyer.. lol anyway.. if you ging to take me to court, go head send me a psapena.

I just ok a call on my cell phone from a person I almost couldn't understand. I don't what dialect she had but for sure it was not American. They called me looking for one of my relatives, how funny. I asked them why and how did the get my number. She said they got it from a affidavit the the relative filled out. They said they were from Bureau of Investigations, calling regarding a legal case a***nst the relative. She asked me to hold on becasue I s****ed asking questions, she said "Hold on I have a call for the Attorney Gereral". B/S!!!!!!!@#@R$%%. This is for sure some kind of scam. She could not be working for our Attorney General because they wouldn't be able to undestand her! She left a number and a name for me to pass on, I asked he to never call my number a***n and the phone went dead. PEOPLE BEWARE!!!!!

first my work got a call and they told them they were criminal investigators...i called back..when anwereing the phone they said in an indian dialect "may i help you"..i finally went through like 4 people,none of whom i could understand.  They then told me that since i had not paid my debt to this company they were going to file charges in a court at 330 this afternoon and i needed a lawyer.  I just laughed at them and they asked me to take them off speaker phone.  I asked to talk to someone else and the same person came on pretending to be someone else...such a joke
