I received a text from this number. They asked "How are you today John?" My name is not John. Years ago, a cell phone company employee mistakenly called me John as he was "activating" my cell phone. Ever since I have gotten spam calls and emails asking for "john". Weird. I wonder how much money he got paid per number he dished out? Of course, I can't PROVE he did it, but considering I never got spam calls or texts prior, and NEVER for "John", I find it highly unlikely. Be safe out there.
