Just got a call on my (619) work cell here in San Diego from a guy who's still practicing his English. Definitely a spam call. He tried telling me I entered some content back in December. Nope.
Looks like they're targeting people with SC numbers. Curious, very curious.

Got a call from 716-803-6631. Man with Indian accent said his name was Ryan and was happy to congratulate me and my wife (which I do not have) with a trip sponsored by World Wide Travels. Claimed I filled out an application at a mall and that I probably wouldn't remember. Asked what the name was on the application to make sure it was not a mistake. Ryan said the application had no name ****e to fill out. He then proceeded to list the destination locations and I said that I was unable to go and that he could pass this opportunity on to the next person. Ryan ***g up.
Colorado springs as well, called at 6:30pm, didn't pick up, no message.
Live in springs - called and did not leave a message. Based on the current status here, looks like they're spammers
I live in Colo Springs, I answered to a man with a heavy Indian accent who told me I won a trip through Worldwide travel. He said I filled out a form several months ago but maybe didn't remember doing it. He proceeded to hand me ****erally hand the phone to the guy next to him) who was the "senior manager" who also had a thick accent. Robert Garcia was his name. He told me their offices were located out of the Cheyenne Mtn resort. When I told him I wasn't comfortable moving forward and they could just give the trip away to someone else he became very angry with me. I told him he didn't need to be upset with me to just give the trip away to someone else he then told me to have a good day and then very rudely said DO NOT FILL OUT THE APPLICATION A***N! I promptly called the Cheyenne Mtn Resort who did tell me there's a group called Worldwide Travel there having "meetings". What an interesting new way to scam people. The front desk said they had received other calls complaining so they were going to address it with their management. This is a scam, I believe so be cautious!
Got a call, no message. I did not answer. Thanks for the site to check a***nst other experiences.
Got a call from this POS at 7:05 pm, he didn't say anything and neither did I so I just ***g up the phone. He can go try to scam others in india for a packet of gum.

I could not recall this and he repsonded with maybe my husband filled out the form. For some reason the call got disconnected and I tried to call back asking for more info and it wouldn't so its spam.

A "Michael" with a heavy accent called and asked to talk to the owner of the phone he called about some applications in some local retail stores.
I'm in Colorado Springs too. This is clearly garbage.
Received this call at 0800, but they ***g up after it went to phone mail...my phone is a new numbered Verizon phone...
Got a call at lunch time, I didn't answer because I don't know anybody from New York. Didn't leave voicemail. Last week received a call from New York but with a 212 area code ...same MO.
California: 11:00 am--Just received a call, which my cell phone said was from New York. I answered, but there was no voice, just a click when the caller ***g up.
(I have CO Spgs area code) Just got a call, didn't pick up, no voicemail, tried calling back and no dial tone. Also, look out for calls from Lawrence MA, they tried to scam me saying that they kidnapped my dad or so****ing but it made no sense because he's in a different state entirely.
Received at 9:51 AM in Colorado Springs. Foreign accent, hard to understand. So****ing about winning a trip. I ***g up immediately.
Got call on cell at 8:30 AM (colorado). Male with thick indian accent. Told him wrong number and ***g up.
Call on cell phone at 8:18 AM. Told them to take me off the list and blocked their number.
Called, free vacation, ***g up.. In colorado
I got a call at 9:30pm. When I saw the number I knew it was from New York and thought it was my female cousin who's originally from Texas calling me, but the voice when I answered was male and also foreign (I think middle east but I'm not sure) I knew that it was no one I knew. So I wasn't paying as much attention as I though that if I just asked who he was calling for I would get the typical opps, sorry, wrong number thing. But no, I got so****ing about a travel agency and always booking with them or so****ing like that. When I tried to say that he had a wrong number, I got was that the number was correct. So I tried asking who he was calling for and got more about the travel agency. This repeated a couple of times. Each time I asked who he was calling for he refused to state the name. My name isn't that hard to say if I was who he was trying to call. So I got frustrated and s****ed raising my voice. That had him saying that I didn't need to raise my voice and that I was who he was trying to talk to. The he said so****ing about filling out paperwork for so****ing to do with a travel agency. To that I replied that I have never booked anything from a travel agency in my entire life and that he had a wrong number. At that he finally got the message and ***g up. This is definitely a spammer and is very aggravating to deal with. Also there kept being breaks in between when he talked that were silent before the slight static that was in the background when he talked. It made me feel like the call was getting transferred to Buffalo New York from wherever he was.
Just got this call--asked "who entered the contest?"---he says "you did, ma'am"--I say "what name is on the entry"--he says "I cannot properly read it"---that was my cue to **** up---My name is Kim---tough one to read, I'm sure!!!
This person called me in the middle of a meeting. I did not pick up and they did not leave a message.

Got a call at 10:40 am from this number saying I had won so****ing. Thick Indian accent. He told me he got my number from a sweepstakes that I had entered to which I asked him which store, which mall, what magazine the sweepstakes could have been****ociated with and he could not answer. He also said maybe a friend had entered for me. I asked him if this phone call was costing me money and he did not answer that question and just kept saying I had won. I told him I thought it was a scam because he couldn't give me the specifics, wished him a nice day and ***g up. my area code is 831, maybe they are targeting us?
This person called me in the middle of a class. I did not pick up but when I tried to call him back a voice said that the phone call could not be completed as dialed.
Got a call from a guy with a thick Indian accent. He kept telling me I won so****ing. I could not understand him and asked to speak with someone else but he kept saying "hello" "hello" told him I didn't enter anything and he said your spouse must have. Told him to kick rocks and ***g up. Waste of my time.
Called both spouse and my cellphones this morning - must be autodialing the whole NPA/NNX. Same story - 'Worldwide Travel' - you must have entered at a mall - ***g up when I disavowed any entry.
Called my cell (area code 831) at 10:02AM. I don't pick up for numbers I don't know. They left no message.
I told then I do not enter to win trips and they ***g up on me. Scam for sure
Received a call to my Cell Phone on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 3:52pm ET. My cell phone is on both State and Federal Do Not Call lists. Very few people even have this cell number that this scammer called on...only family and relatives. The 716 Area Code is from the Buffalo & Niagara Falls area of New York state and I have some relatives living in the Buffalo, N.Y. area, so I mistakenly answered the phone only to discover it was a scammer and not family. Call is from a Scammer. Caller ID: 716-803-6631 Name: Unknown
Called with a thick Indian accent and said I had won a vacation from a contest I had entered(never entered anything). He said it was a couples cruise but when I told him a was single he said I didn't qualify and ***g up. What's the deal?
"Do you remember signing up for this at a mall or grocery store? Do you??" (Of course not.)

The number is a Buffalo NY number, which is where I live and why I answered (although I'm from Indianapolis and still have an Indianapolis phone number). The guy had a thick Indian accent and said I had won a contest I entered, although I don't recall entering any contests. He went on about the prizes I could win. He was hard to understand and it sounded like a scam so I ***g up and blocked the number

95012 area. Same thing as the other posters. Person that can hardly speak English is telling me that I won a travel contest. When I said "sounds like **** to me, I don't enter contests" they ***g up. Don't forget to report them to Do Not Call Registry if you are registered.
"Worldwide Travels" called to say I won a supermarket "ballot" entry which en***led me to one of two vacations for 2 persons - domestic vacation or cruise. They listed the stores I may have entered at - half of which I visited in the last "eligible 6 months". I was told a senior manager needed to give me an address to which I would go to finalize the do***ents located at Century Beach Resort in 3295 ____ Rd Marina CA 93933. I have a central CA # but live in another state. Apparently that was a deal breaker since "there was a mix up". They stated my only cost would be the tax - between $55 and $99 per person. They sounded of Indian decent. The more time of theirs the informed waste the less there is for them to get to the uninformed...
Got a call from this number to my 831 verizon cell phone at 10:54 am. That's a central CA area code. I answered it because it was from Buffalo NY and I have relatives there. As soon as I heard the unfamiliar voice I ***g up.
I had a missed call on my cell phone at 9:57 am. I didn't answer because I didn't hear my phone ring but I also don't answer numbers I don't recognize. Thanks for the heads up on the scam!!!

I got a call from this number at 10:30 this morning - did not answer because I do not know anyone in Buffalo that would call me.
Calling themselves "National Grand Essentials" a person gave me his name as "Paul Neighbors" an****istant manager (probably fake) calling from 716-370-2448 and gave me a call back number 716-803-6631. Says I filled out a ballot in a mall for a free vacation. (1) I HATE MALLS and do not shop in them (2) I would NEVER fill out a scammy ballot form (3) I've only had my phone for 4 weeks (4) it's a work phone, I'd NEVER give it out. He was VERY rude when I screamed at him to remove me from his call list.
CEntral indiana 317 number. blocked it

Received call in central Indiana. The gentleman's accent was so thick I had a hard time understanding him. He commented that I had filled out an application and so****ing about Wal-mart. I told him I had not filled out an application and and asked where he got my number. He commented that it must be a bad time and began to ask more questions. I promptly ***g up.
Must have ***g up with me (Also CA) and called Peggy! Identical phone call. They had the name of the shopping mall nearest me. I said I was busy and would need to call back, but they ***g up when I pushed for a name and number to call back. My husband had a missed call from them a few days ago.
Called my cell phone (California). Said I won a vacation from filling out a form at a shopping mall. Couldn't give me any details of where or when it was done. I never give out my cell number. Heavy accent. Barely understandable.
Person had a heavy accent that I did not understand, so I ***g up. Why would someone from Buffalo call me when I live in California.
From northeast Indiana: Man with a southwest Asian accent called from the "National Grand Center." Stated I filled out a raffle ticket/application in December and they needed to confirm who I was so I could get my "prize." Man could not tell me who I was or provide any other information. Told him to *******.
Man with very heavy accent stated he was calling from the "National Crime Center," the line faded and when it came back he was talking about shopping at Wal*Mart. ***g up, blocked the number, posted here.
THEY KEEP CALLING ME FROM 716-803-6631 AND NO MESSAGE AND WHEN I ANSWERED ONCE, THEY ***G UP ON ME. DO NOT GIVE THIS IDIOTS ANY INFO; IF THEY ARE CALLING FOR SO****ING IMPORTANT THEN THEY SHOULD ALREADY HAVE YOUR INFO. THERE'S NO REASON FOR THEM TO BE ASKING PERSONAL QUESTIONS.
Said I won a trip..
Got a call stating I "won a trip" and "did I fill out application for one in California". I asked who it was, and they ***g up (northern IN)
I received a call on my cell phone from this number. It rang twice and quit. I don't know anyone in Buffalo, NY that would be calling me. I suspect this is SPAM!!!
They called, I answered. I asked them who it was and he said his name was "Zed" and they said I won a vacation trip. I knew it was spam so I kept asking who it was. It took me to say "who the f*** is this" before they said "thank you" and ***g up. The caller had a very strong Indian accent. (Northern Indiana)
I answered and they stated I won a vacation trip. I knew it was a scam right away, but I played along with it and said if I filled out an entry form send it on my way! But then he asked me my age and when I said I didn't feel comfortable answering any questions he ***g up on me. Be careful!!
Got a call (In Central, CA), didn't answer, they left no message.
Got a call (I'm in Northern IN) they left no message.
They call. I answered. They ***g up. I don't understand this style of spamming.
