Calls but leaves no message

THIS NUMBER CALLED ME ON MY CELL PHONE. RECORDED MESSAGE SAID THE INTREST RATE ON MY CREDIT CARD COULD BE LOWERED, PRESS 1. I DID AND ALSO AS BELOW Got a subject on line with a very heavy Indian accent. I ASKED WHO THIS WAS HE WOULD NOT SAY AND S****ED HIS SALES PITCH. I STOPPED HIM BY SAYING THIS IS A CELL PHONE AND BY LAW YOUR NOT ALLOWED TO SOLICIT TO CELLS AND I'M SENDING HIS NUMBER TO THE FCC. HE ***G UP RIGHT AWAY. STILL SENT HIS NUMBER WITH A COMPLAINT.

I got exactly same as GJ below. The message instructed me to press "1" which I did. Got a subject on line with a very heavy Indian accent. Could barely understand what he was saying. Some indication he was calling about my VISA cards and****ential to lower interest rates. When I s****ed getting indignant about now giving any info about my accounts over the phone, he got quite argumentative. I finally ***g up. Then, promptly got two more calls from a different number that I ignored.

I let it go to voicemail and it was supposedly Heather from "Card Services" calling in regard to my credit card account. "There's nothing wrong but you need to call us back so we can discuss how you can lower your interest rates." In other words, spammer, fishing for someone to give them personal info. Not going to happen. I blocked the number from my phone. Just like I did when they called earlier and the number showed up as ***-366-1987
