Leave a CommentI got the annoying phone call and no one on the other end.
Definitely spam
Just got a call from that number on my cell. My cell is a throw away, so I guess they are just dialing numbers randomly. Didn't answer. I never answer numbers I don't know.
Didn't take the call. Just used my phone block feature and added them to my reject list

Received a call. They just ***g up on me.
I just took a call from this number, and it was someone who sounded polite and identified himself as "Joseph." He said that he was calling in regards to a survey I had recently completed, on which I had expressed an interest in learning about job opportunities. I told him that I was sure I hadn't filled out a survey like that. He replied that I had done so, to which I responded more emphatically that, NO, I had not filled out anything like that. He said, "OK," and he immediately ***g up before I could say anything else (because THAT didn't make the phone call seem even sketchier). ***ody should fall for this; it's a pretty obvious one.
It was a live person, claiming to be "Joseph" from WN Positions. He asked me how I was; I said "Godd; how are you?", and there was five seconds of silence (I thought at first that it was a robo-call because of this, but he was probably prohibited from moving away from the script). When he explained first why he was calling, I waited in silence in return, wondering whether or not a recording was timed to wait until most people would stop talking to resume, but he ended up saying "Hello?", so I played along (because I accidentally pressed the ****on to answer, and since I made the mistake of answering, it was my duty to listen to what he had to say, no matter how full of BS it is). "Joseph" claimed that I parti****ted in an online survey earlier this month for a WalMart gift card, and that in the survey, I indicated that I am looking for job opportunities. I rarely fill out surveys, and have a photographic memory, so I knew that it had been quite a few months since I filled out any survey. I kept insisting that it was not me, that they had the wrong person, that they were mistaken, etc.; and I actually had to phrase it this many ways before "Joseph" replied, "Well, even if it wasn't you," they would like to present me with job opportunities. So I told them the truth, which happened to be convenient for once: that for the next few months, I will be recovering from a surgery, and that during such time, I will be totally unemployable. He apologized, I thanked him for the opportunity (I'm too polite to these people), and we ended the conversation.
"Joseph" called to offer free job search services in regards to a recent survey I filled out online. I never filled out a survey, and I'm not looking for a new job. His response was "But, it's free!" Bad scammer. Don't answer calls from this number.
I called back late at night. States "WN opportunities". A job placement service ?
This company constantly called me and annoyed me all night.
