Leave a CommentNumber called me. I did not answer. Called number back and the answering message said to call back M-F from 7-4pm Pacific time. but the number is *** which is eastern. Obviously a spam call
I've been getting the same calls from this number for days with my caller ID identifying them as "Walmart" but never leaving a message on my ma****e. Today I answered and a woman with a foreign accent asked for me by name and s****ed to ask about my vehicle. It sounded like it was a busy call center. I immediately interrupted to tell her my caller ID identified the call as Walmart and asked if she was from Walmart. She said "no" and "sorry" and tried to continue her dialogue at which point I said no thank you and ***g up. This number needs to be reported and blocked.
Yep, got a call from them. Yes****ay and a***n, today. The caller ID says 'Walmart' however, it's NOT. It is a local *** PA telephone number. When you call them back, there is a recording that states that "the office is currently closed, and to please call back M-F 7am to 4pm Pacific time. WE are on East coast time. Hmmm.... It's some guy with an accent (you can hear a bunch of people talking in the background like it's a huge telemarketing or SCAM organization. They call and ask for (in this case, my husband by the first name) a person in the household and accurately identify the model and make of his vehicle. They s**** to talk about an extended warranty. I decided to listen and explain politely that he was not here at the moment, and could I help them. They further state that they must talk to the vehicle owner, will try a***n later, and **** up. I immediately called Walmart's Corporate headquarters and reported that somebody was scamming using THEIR number. They took my info. Today, they called a***n. Same beginnings only this time, I asked: "Do you know that your caller ID comes up as Walmart?" They abruptly ***g up. Enough said.
Extended warranty call to cell phone.

Tried to sell me an extended warranty for my vehicle.
Called numerous times, many days. Very hard to understand. Wanted to know how many miles were on my car. Told him 5,000 (just bought car in Summer) and he said I will transfer you to my supervisor upon which time he ***g up. Did research on this number......tries to sell you an extended warranty.
