If a debt collector calls you and asks for your neighbor its usually because they looked up to see who lives near by you neighbor so they can verify if they still live at that address so they can either send out a process server to sue them or to send them things in the mail

Yes, they called and asked about my neighbor as well...however, he called me by my last name. I think they are bill collectors. I called back but they wouldn't provide me with any information as to who and what the company stands for.

I received calls from ***9615100.  I did manage to get a "little" data from Heather, the woman who answered the phone when I called the number back.  She stated she could not disclose why I was called unless I had an account.  Since I could not ascertain if I had an account with them due to the fact that I didn't know who "them" was.  She told me the company name is DCS.  I****umed it was a debt collector (they like to use acronyms).  I gave her my telephone number that had been called so that she could check if I had an account with them.  She found nothing****ociated with my number.  I did a search on Google and found the name of Diversified Collection Services.  A collection agency for unpaid debts for Student Loans and non-tax debts to State and Federal agencies.  I have no unpaid debts, but I did have a roommate that did not repay her student loans.  Could be that they are trying to track her down OR it was a wrong number.

Called my office about an important matter of a personal nature. I told them there was a policy of no personal phone calls at my office.

This number calls from 8 in the morning until 10 almost everyday. Won't leave a message..

Calls 3-4 times per day then takes a break for a week or so and then calls a***n 4-5 times a day...

I called them back, they asked what # I'd called from and said they had no idea why I'd been called.

Got a call from "***d"  he asked me if my middle initial was __  and I asked who he was, He told me he can't give out any info until I verify my info.  Smells like fraud to me BEWARE
