these idiots call and don't stop even when you ask them to stop, they just keep calling and calling, I'm on the do not call list and these freaks are insane. .. so much for the national do not call list.
That is why quickbooks has exclusive on you and can charge whatever you want. You try to switch and they tell you can't do this and that. This is ****. Everyone wants to make money here, telemarketers included. There is nothing to worry about realeasing merchant statement information when you block important information. This information may be obtained from a number of resources anyway. What you are essentially doing is competing for best possible price and also a valuable information as to what you are payin*****, I got a call from these guys too and guess what I switched one of my locations. So far so good, no problems and I managed to get a few things for free.I know they do not make whole lot on me since I was able to squeeze than for true cost plus couple cents.I guess their numbers allow them to get these accounts. If they give the same pricing I will switch the rest with no problem. Oh they do have the same 24 hrs phone number that I used before with First Data. So the processing and connections are the same.
I'm getting calls from Larry telling me they can provide me with credit card processing services at half the price of my current provider. They want me to send them an application for their services so they can take over processing through my quickbooks accounting program. Same person calls every day, getting to be a pain in the rear. After a call to my service provider I found there is only one provider authorized to work through the quickbook system and the is quickbooks merchant services. Any other providers have to break the code to be able to process the cards in that manner and you would be left without trouble*****ing options as well as****ential security issues. I was advised not to provide them with any information.
This number has called every phone line our company has and they have recently s****ed just heavy breathing into the phone instead of even trying to sell us anything! Creeps! We have asked them repeatedly to stop calling us and to remove our numbers from their database. They are obviously not listening and now they are taking it to a whole new level of weird with the creepy breathing.
These reviews on here about people swit****g to this company are bogus. There is no way in***** a responsible business owner would turn over vital, important information about their business to some idiot telemarketer on the phone. These people are paid on a sales commision by how many people or businesses they ***** over. Never release information about yourself or business to anyone calling you. EVER! These companies prey on the ******.
Got a call claiming the credit card companies were reducing their rates and I could save all kinds of money, of course they wanted all my information so they could quote me a rate. They didn't even know the name of my business even though they said my business had "come up eligible" for these lower rates. Total phishing scam, I get these kinds of calls all the time.
unknown number calling...
Postive, fake self-reviews. They all read the same. Don't be a fish, stick with what you have.
I received a call from Merchant Industry ( Merchantindustry.com ) a few months ago and I switched my Processing Company to them. It was the best Business decision i have made since opening up my Own Business. Not only is the customer service outstanding I was promised i would be saving an average of $ 200.00 a month and I was
I got a call but I said the owner wasn't in so I'll make sure to not let out any information.
Some girl named Lindsey called from merchant industry (merchantindustry.com) to my place of business, I own a diner in South Carolina. She claimed that she can beat my current credit card merchant rates and all I had to do was fax over my statement. I was a bit reluctant at first so I told her know. But the girl was very persistent. She promised me a $500 visa gift card if they cannot beat my current rates and all I have to do is fax my statements and can block out any personal info. So I was like whatever, and did exactly that. Someone besides Lindsey called me back and ordered me to grab my statement and he went over everything with me, explained to me where I was being *****ed. I went from paying $1200/month to $450/month. I was being fooled every month by Phantom fees.
Get numerous calls to business from telemarketer that says that they are with Merchant Services and they support the credit card terminal. They want me to fax a statement to them so that they can process an urgent update and if I do not fax this info, the credit card terminal will no longer work. I thought this was fishy... why would they want this info if they are the ones who they claim to support the device? ***g up and called my bank. They told me NOT to send the info to them. Google'd the number and it's Merchant Industry LLC. They have ads everywhere for telemarketing jobs. It's a ***** telemarketing scam. Don't send them anything! The same person calls almost everyday.
