i was involved in some SS scam and that my number was in su****ious activity.

Another IRS tax fraud lawsuit threat!

Same as others: They left voicemail saying that they are the IRS and they have filed a lawsuit a***nst me. The voice is computer generated, probably to hide their accent. They called twice on this number, and then also called this one: ***-343-5836. Also, the number they tell you to call, matches the Caller ID number. Obvious scam, do not call them back! Just ignore it.

An automated message was left on my voicemail, and it said that the IRS is bringing a lawsuit a***nst me. The area code appears to be from NY. That seems like a strange place to call from, seeing that I don't live anywhere near there. I do have an IRS location in my state, I believe.

IRS tax lawsuit threat came from this caller ID'd number. Added info: showed as "local number" when it is not. ID manipulation is also illegal.
