these people have been calling my home for 5 months now I screen all my calls, I went to make a phone call and some how ended up with these rude people badgering me for information as to who I am and is this my SS number. I told them I was not this person and to stop calling my home, since that time they have s****ed calling 4+ times a day and leaving no message. after some quick research here is the info I have on them. They called my house at 8:00 am and asked for my x-wife.  We have been divorced for twenty years and i have had this # for 12 years.  I told them they had the wrong #, and nothing else. My x lives in another country and I wonder how they got this # it is unlisted. They called my son next and he told them the same. As far as I know my x owes nothing to anyone, so it is odd they are calling for her.

These ******s called at 8am an hour before I was planning to wake up.  Needed to be well rested for a class I'm teach today.  And them am volunteering until 10pm after work.  So I need my sleep.Since NO ONE I KNOW would call me at that hour I****umed it was some emergency and ran out to get the phone.  I had to call them back because I missed the call. No company name, no one answered at first, just silence.  Then someone comes on the line and asks (without identifying herself) how she can help me.  "you f*cking called & woke me, what do YOU want?"  She asks for the person who last had my phone #- who I happen to know has not lived in the US for over a year.  I reiterate that this has been my private cell phone in my name for a long time now.  She CLAIMS she'll take me off the calling list, but I know they've called before, because I've already submitted several DONOTCALL.GOV complaints.

these folks call me looking for someone else. maybe it was the person who had the number before me. but anyway, it's a wrong number and i've repeatedly asked them to not call me anymore because it's a wrong number. they continued calling 1-2 times a day,they say that they wont stop calling me til i give them my personal information.i filed complaints with the FCC and FTC and it was like as soon as i did these low life s***bags increased the calls from 1-2 to 3-4 a day.since they wont stop harassing me, every time they call, i just pick up the phone and then as soon as i'm sure i have an live person i just lay the phone down on the counter and let them talk to dead air. the phone display shows that it takes the person about 30 seconds to **** up.it only takes me about 5 minutes combined of my time a day and i know that i'm making it more expensive for them in resources, time, and personnel. if they wont stop harassing me, then that's the least i can do.if we all turned this back in on them, i think we could make a big difference.

This person keeps calling me every day.  I understand from you blogs that it is a collection agency for student loans.  I never even went to collage. I do not wat them calling me and wasting my cell phone minutes.  They do not leave a message and when I say*****ow they **** up.  Get them !!

I have been called for 4 years about a party who had the phone number I have, before me. They called and called, were rude, unprofessional and when I tracked them down, I told them I would persue a class action suit a***nst them for their inability to manage the data they are responsible for. Calling ***** nilly and blaming it on auto dialers is not the answer. After speaking with Mr. Morris, he****ured me they discovered the problem. If it worked for me, it may work for you. Good luck.

These *****s have c****ed their number a***n.The number that they used a***n last time was an 800 number.I put that one on the DO Not Call Registry because they were rude and harrassed me by calling more than 8 times a day at my home and work.The number that they HAVE been using is 888-287-0597. Now, today, July 31st 2008, they have switched back to using the original office number of 718-475-3725.Why can't somebody shut their ENTIRE phone system down so that no one can be threatened and harrassed by these people?Why can't this business be put out of business by the DA in their town and the phone company in that berg??If their entire phone system was to be shut down then they could just as easily be shut down in its entirtey.Gee, so they lay off people who would be better off serving at McDonalds!

These people called FIVE times today.The girl Christy called me at work whenI ha customers threatened me with wage garnishment.hey Christy,what is your home phone number? I need it to call police on you! I will fiel harrasment charges with our local DA and then perhps with their city's DA.We also have an attorney General that would LOVE ot hear my complaint aginst your company.I am going to list the times that you called with the DONOT CALL REGISTRY.I SO want your job Christy and that of your supervisor You were RUDE Will that sit well with your prsonnel Department.**** on to your socks Christy you are going down!!!!

This one was named "LArry" telling me that they were Pioneer Credit and that they wanted to help get my loan out of default. Okay, fine.... then he asked me questions on my debt ratio, and offered me a deal, if gave him 9 pre paid checks. Ensuring payment every month, he said. Okay... send me the infor on what to write on the checks and where to send. "No, checks by phone" he tells me. Oh no. I asked how do I know you aren't some kid in your mom's living room? He gives me his supevisor, who is rude and loud. He tells me that he's not going to arguew with me and that I should transfer him to my HR department (I was at work) they will s**** the garnishements now. He tells me he's been doing this for 5 years. I say "What are you 22? " No he says 27. I say Oh, big step up from McDonald's and **** up. Nice.

"Jennifer" and her supervisor got on the phone, when I refused to give information about my social security number without them identifyiong them selves first.  This is regarding a defaulted student loan, from 1987.  Pioneer collection agency has now bought this loan.  They said I have 12 hours to call them back before they garnish my paycheck, and threatened to call my boss.

Some ***** called my business from this number today and asked for my HR department.  I told him we don't have one, and what is this pertaining to.  He said that he needed the department that handled the garnishment of wages and I told him that we don't have any department like that.  He smirked and replied "Oh you don't have one, huh?".  I then asked his name and what this call is about, and more importantly who is he calling for, he refused to tell me anything and ***g up on me.

If you do not recognize the area code and or phone number when they ask for a specific person, (you) your response should always be "You have the wrong number" if it is someone you know or need to speak with, they will call back or get in touch with you some other way.  I have found that this is the best way to respond.  These people have written scripts to respond to you no matter what you say to them.  But, if your answer is always "Sorry you have wrong number"  responding the same way you really would respond to a turly wrong number, they have no where to go.  Yes they keep calling back for a while, but with the same response they give up and move on.

My story is the same except there are/were no student loans.  Any way to stop their calls.  I'm retired and sometimes I sleep later than 8 AM, except when these calls come through.

I say they leave a voicemail about half the time, and its a computerized woman looking for a man who I have never heard of. Attempted to call them back to no avail. This is annoying since this is a BUSINESS line that sends to my cellphone and they call at all hours of the day and night.

My manfreind heard a phone message for me from the same company at the same time I was being verbally****ualted by Lisa.This gal's name was Jennifer Kyle.I heard the message on the naswering ma****e whenI got home.She left me her scam number as 888-287-0597,ext.22243.

A woamn by the name of Lisa called my work.She threatened me,was verbally abusive.I had customers and She called back three times after I kept ****ing up on her.I filed****ault charges,harrasment charged and violation of privacy charges on her with our local sherrif's department.I am going to also file****aultcharges with HER local department.I want the district attorney to file charges on her and her company.I want these s*** bags out of business by week's end.***ODY should have to put up with the tirade of abuse that I was privy to at work no less! They insist they get the power to break into someone's credit report from the federal gov't.

This company is literally running your "credit report" in order to obtain current contact infomation.

I have called this number, but they will not give me any info. on themselves.  And yet, they want it from me.  Who and what are they?

Their new number system is 1-870-***-4860,806-746-4853.One girl who called my work is named Christy  Jones,the other gal who called my work number is named Elizabeth. I had 8 calls today. They ***g up three times,harrassed me at work three seperate times.

These people leave no privacy for anyone.They call at 8 AM every morning. I willhave to c****e my number at this rate or have law enforcement go after them
