Well this number came from a Colorado area code, pretty funny since I have NEVER been to Colorado. I will talk with a real officer, (my husband) and I will let them talk with him, I guarantee that they will not enjoy the conversation that they get. These people are calling my old employer, so now I have my old co-workers e-mailing me and wondering what the***** is going on and what was she involved in......Can you get them for slander for stating that they are cops and making people think that you are a criminal because there are "cops" looking for me?

Officer Kenny Spencer called my mother and told her that I owe Cashnet and that is was in fraud.  He then called me and told me if I didn't pay $680, he would have an officer to come to my job.  I've never had a loan with Cashnet.  What am I to do?

Not only did he have my Previous Employers names, he knew the name of the Guy I bought my first car from.  And get this... that ***** knew my SS#!  What the***** is going on?  Try to call them back, and there is a busy signal... ****s!

so who are these people? are they a collection agency or what? i work for a collection agency and we would never do this. i have been getting the same calls. how can we find out about who these people are. there has to be a way. this is scary

Gee, in Idaho, he's Officer James White 718-569-6663. This guy gets around! The only fraud involved is their collection practices. The next time they call, tell them the following and **** up:"I know you are not a police officer or with any department of investigations. Calls to my home and work must cease immediately. I am allowed to insist on that due to the laws of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. If you want to correspond with me, you must do so in writing, through the mail, to my home address. You have already violated FDCPA by threatening to send police to my work/have me arrested/contacting my family and releasing confidential information (pick whichever and whatever fits your cir***stances). Any further violations will result in a lawsuit a***nst you for $1,000 per violation."

I have also received calls from this number several times a day for two days in row. I finally talked to someone the first time he said his name was Officer Kenny Spencer but when I ask what state he was from wouldnt tell me so I talked with someone who called himself Officer Jack Smith. very scary they have Identifying information and told me that I would go to jail for fraud if I didnt pay. It was not until I was done talking that I realized what was going on and googled and here I am. I was in tears it was as scary as*****.

I also have been gettin calls from this number and a Officer from NYS dept of investigations named Officer Austin Jones. He wouldn't tell me exactly what the issue was but that it was in regards to my invlovement in a fraud case. I asked him to go into further detail and he refused until I confirmed my SSI and address. I said no because I had no idea whom I was actually on the phone with and he told me to have my attorney contact him or he will be having the police visit my home and work. Very scary when someone has your info and makes threats.

I received a call from this number stating he was officer charles brown from the dept. of law and investigations. He wanted me to call him back and when I did he was unavailable an supposed to call me back, but never did.

they are calling me from different numbers with my area code

This guy states his name is Mike Walters and is from some investigation place. Don't let them con you into giving them money. They are liars and volguar. They have been harrasing me at work.

This person is now calling my friends telling them that they signed a loan for me on-line.  This is a complete fraud.  Do not give any info out.
