Leave a CommentCalled at 9:20 am. Pressed one to speak with the ****. Asked if I owed more than $3,000 and if I was paying more than 10% interest to which I replied yes to both. He asked when my card expired, gave him a date. He then asked for "only the last four digits" of my card, so I gave him four numbers. Then he asked for the preceding eight at which time I told him I knew it was phishing and told him to go back to India. Seems the number's been either disconnected or taken of the hook.
Sure enough, spam!
This phone number called me and said they could lower my interest rate on my credit card. Knowing that I have no credit card I selected 1 to speak with a representative. I asked what credit card company it was and told them that I have no credit card with them and how did they get my information. The woman on the other line was foreign and ***g up on me.

They gave me a list of all credit cards and none of which I have. They said with my great payment history I qualified for a lower interest rate but couldn't say which card my payment history was so good on?
Just received a pre-recorded message call from this number on my cellphone. They said they were calling about my existing account blah blahblah - I turned it off quickly. However despite turning off my phone, the call kept broadcasting through my phone -very weird. Then my phone had a message on the entry screen saying to touch the screen to reconnect to the call.(I could still hear the pre-recorded message though) I have Verizon. I don't give out my cellphone number so this was very strange.
This was a call saying I could get a lowered interest rate on my credit card, but never said what credit card. SPAM.

Called at 7:00 AM. Left no message. Online search of number showed it to be spam (at best), scam (at worst).
Called my cell at 8:35AM EST - did not recognize so I did not answer. No voicemail left.
This was a pre-recorded call which first pretended to be about an exsisting account then became a sales adverti*****t for a new card. . It is in clear violation of the FCC and FTC rules regarding prerecorded commercial calls
