S****ed recently getting calls from this local number (we are in 718 area code, which is New York City) but never leave any messages, identify themselves, etc. and **** up when greeted by our voice mail screening.Called them back & ask them who is it and identify themselves, which they REFUSED but instead asked for our phone number and name, which we declined since we do NOT know who they are and inform them that for privacy reason, we do NOT give out any information (ha ha) - then, **** up on them.

Calls every day. Leaves no message. I do not pick up.

FYI, this company is a creditor.  It may not be the one who issued you a piece of plastic, but a collection service.  Doesn't matter which, really.  They have to play by certain rules -- only call at certain hours, no obscenities, no threats of violence, no lying etc.If you *don't* have anyone to whom you owe money past due, you should be fine.  In the case of P & J, who are receiving calls for someone they don't know, tell them the approximate date you got your phone number ("We've only had this number for three months.") and that this unknown person no longer has that number.  If the caller persists, tell him that you will report them to the FCC for harassment if they continue to call, and that they can expect fines if they do not comply.Some states are very strict about private individuals recording phone calls.  If this "wrong number" keeps calling, I'd buy a phone recording device (cheap, go to Radio Shack) and as soon as the human comes on the line inform them the time & date, their number on your caller I.D., and that you will be recording this call.  Tell them if they don't want to be recorded to please **** up.  Then play the trump card, "As I've told you before, you have the wrong number.  Call me a***n and I will give this tape and my phone records to the FCC, and you will receive fines for harassing me."  They'd better apologize at that point.  LOLI'm no lawyer, but that's a s****.

A call from this number came in asking for a person we do not know.  Man accused me of lying, yelled at me, called me ******, and said he can call me as many times as he'd like because he is not a solicitor.  I am outraged and am calling the Federal Trade Commission.

The call for me and talk to the ma****e saying can I speak to Mike ad today they said We are going to get you! Who are these people?

I received a call from this number and they did not identify themselves when I asked who. I gave them no info and they ***g up on me. I want to know who this is.
