They are calling me harassing about a loan I never got. They refuse to send any do***entation and are threatening me.  They have some how been able to get into our phone numbers (mine and my mothers) and the caller id shows up as each others number and sometimes as our own numbers calling us.  They left a voice mail on my mothers phone saying they are so mad at me that they are going to **** me.  What should I do?  They also say they are from the Attorney Generals office.

Sandy it is a well known scam.  Do not worry it is an annoyance, but you have done nothing wrong and they can not do nething to you.  Ask alot of questions, tell them you will report to the fair trade commission, FBI, Secret Service, Homeland Security and local police.  And do it.  The FTC are the ones who regulate collections.  Everything these scam artists do is illegal and probably funds terrorism.

I've been getting the same calls. Same guy, Alex Stevens, same story. What do I do? Its annoying and he s****ed calling people I know. I never got a loan from anyone, and just as you guys mentioned, if I did, I would gladly pay it. He has not be able to provide me with truthful information, yet knows my home address and other bank information about me.

I was contacted by Alex Stevens this evening claiming to be a federal investigator opening a case a***nst me.  This was a voicemail left.  I called back and he told me he had the last four of my social and wanted me to confirm it.  Very strong accent.  I would give him nothing.  He then told me I owed for Cash Advance and needed to pay it immediately or I would be arrested.  I have contacted my lawyer who told me it was a scam.  DON't tell them anything.
