I have also had calls from these people. Do you ever notice that they can hardly speak english but they use very common names? I have had a George Williams, John Smith, Jack Jones.. These people are sick. I wish there was some way to get rid of them.I answered the other day and flipped out on them, the man told me I was to be arrested in 45 minutes. I told him to "Bring it on"!!

To everyone posting about these calls...Please be aware they are fake and a fraud they c****e their numbers so they don't get caught.  I've had two calls from these people in the past and they are just trying to take money from us. I've already filed a complaint with the FTC ( federal trade commision).

So for a week now I've been getting these calls.  I finally talked with someone last night about what they claim I'm going to be arrested for.  They are very rude and very threatening.  Totally ticked me off.  I went home and called the State Police Dept because the number is from out of state.  They advised me to call the State Attorney Generals office.  I did and spoke with someone today about it and was told they are aware of this scam.  I gave him the number that keeps calling and he said they will do some more investigative work.  He advised me to just ignore the calls.  So a***n, today i've received 4 calls and the last one was a message stating he is going to send a fax to my manager about my being arrested.  So, I've blocked the number on my cell and home.  I also called the Attorney Generals office a***n.   I'm sick of this harrassment.  Who do these people think they are?

I've been getting calls from these people on my cell and at work. Threatening me and harrassing me, I felt it was suspect because the man is saying his name is ben johnson and another saying his name is officer anderson which is bull because he has an accent sounds like they are hindu, I'm sure there is no ben johnson or officer anderson where they are from. I'm glad I found this site because I was getting nervous. Is this illegal? Can anything be done about this? When these ****s called my job they called over and over saying they are going to tell my supervisor about this, I was so embarrassed. I work ina bank so there is no extension so my co-workers and my manager where answering the phones, I had to explain that I had no idea who these people were and that I did not know what they were talking aboutmthis is so crazy how do these people have my information

They call me from time to time from this number as well as several other numbers.  This is a scam, I fell for it out of fear and embarassment. It cost me almost $3000.  After I paid the amount they told me I had to pay to avoid being arrested, these kinds of calls kept coming to my cell phone and to my work, so I felt I had no choice but to consult a lawyer.  She couldn't believe I had actually paid these people $.  They are offs**** companies that have bought your personal information from a payday loan company (in most cases).  It is the largest scam out there today.  Tell them you refuse to talk to them and tell them you would be more than happy to have your attorney contact them, they will **** up on you....they will call you back from time to time pretending to be Officer So and So from the crime bureau, but DONT pay them any money and dont worry about them doing anything..they are doing so****ing illegal, not you!

i have received the same threatening calls. I know it has nothing to do with my wife. trying to track down.

Its a scam!!! Don't give them any money and report it to homeland security ASAPPP

I got a call from this number also, stating he was an officer.  However because I'm aware of major scams going on, when he asked me by name I told him he had the wrong number. He asked my name, gave him a false one, he asked if I knew this person, I said no I'm sorry I can't help you.Who are they and how do they get away with this!!  If these people really do have your information, please contact the credit reporting agencies (Trans Union, Equifax, etc) and place a security block.  Call your bank and place a security block.Lastly, report this fraud to the real police.armd, don't worry, it's a scam.

Got a call from Officer Michael Jones, 719.219.1029 said I have a legal case a***nst my social...This is a scam and do not give them your info.

i got a call from officer addams. he also called my job.i have no warrants, in any state.i think its bu***hit. the cops come to your door to get you not call  your home or job.

i jus picked up a msg on my work cell from an officer michael jones who says he's from the united states crime bureau. he states that im gonna be arrested monday, i think he said after 12:15 or maybe he said 3, culdn't understand him...strong accent. said i culd reach him back at this number if i didn't want to b detained but there's no answer n no voicemail. said so****ing about so****ing filed a***nst my name and ss#. wondering wat this is about. very worried i have 3 kids, 1 is a newborn, and i am the only one working right now...i am my families financial support. need some kind of info. plz

someone called and said it's the crime bureau, has a case a***nst me and my ssn # is in investigation..
