My sister lost her cat and used a lost pet service to post on social media outlets. This person texted her, about the cat, she asked them to send a pic, and the person then sent her a text from a 6 digit # with a 6 digit google verification # and asked for her safety To tell him the 6 digit #. She didn’t do so, then I called 2x no answer and then he text messaged me asking me if It was ok if he sent me a 6 digit number that I can verify for him. We are in NY and number is a so called land line in Colorado. Scammer most definitely praying on vulnerable people! People are sick
