My Aunt recieved a call from 248-298-3837 and he stated that his name was Daniel and that I needed to call him within the next 24 hours. I called the number and the lady that answered the phone was indian with a heavy accent and I asked where was I calling and she said "You dont know where your calling?" which made me very mad and then what seemed su****ious is that she answered the phone like*****o how can i help you? not*****o you have called (the name of the company). She transferred me to Daniel in which he was indian as well with a heavy accent and I couldnt understand so i told him give me someone who speaks english and he gave me his supervisor and he was still Indian anyhow they said that I recieved a payday loan using false info and that a lawsuit was pending a***nst me and I could settle this out of court and he told me to call 719-476-0491 and i became very upset because i knew i didnt do that and the acct he said the funds went too was a walmart money card in which it doesnt have a chking acct # you have to use the 16 digit card number as your acct in which you cant get a payday loan with that. I called 719-476-0491 and it didnt ring like a normal business should and then loud christmas music came on I had to **** up because I am at work but I will be calling them back and giving them a hard time bc i work in customer service so they are going to give me some info. After reading all of these stories I am really mad! thanks

They called my sister today looking for my husbad, saying that he had committed some kind of fraud. The guys name was Victor so****ing, could barely understand him. When the call came up on the id it wasn't even a full number.

Message left on my ma****e said the  Financial crimes investigations was looking for a friend of mine. He had my name as well as my friend's na*****e phone number that came through on the voicemail was 570-309-3055, but he said to call back at 719-476-0491 and that we would both be in a big mess if I did not return the call. He had a very heavy Indian accent and was difficult to understand.

My sister got a call earlier today from someone stating that i gave her name for contact info and she said they were calling from the ......Fraud unit. She immediately called me and i had no idea about what she was talking about. Later a number that only registered on my cell as 0000 left a msg from Sam Murphy from some fraud unit and stated the last four numbers of my SSN# and left the number above. I managed to write down the number after listening to fast msg a second time. When I calld Sam Murphy was "in a meeting" and the one who answered  with and Indian accent like Sam Muphy but different voice answered officer ....... When i asked for name of company he said "federal financial crimes unit" but didnt collect any info from me and asked my name 4 times. I checked with a friend that does fraud crime for out local olice dept and he said this would not be procedure and that i should report this to police.  BEWARE.

Ya I got a call from the same number as you guys and they said they were from financial criminal investigation also. Sam Murphy was the supervisors na*****ey also wouldnt send me any paper work and said I was being sued for fraud on a payday loan for 350.00 dollars and that i could payback the 350 plus 150.00 interest or settle in court for 7000.00 dollars .Can you believe that ,These people are nuts.A***n though the scary part was that they had my social and address ..Now back around the time they said i got this loan I had applied at a place online called Fast Cash International So if anyone has looked into that payday loan place maybe they are in on it together or they have inside people working it i dont know.It would appear to be a scam so i let my bank know and just stop taking calls from them..hope this helps.CR

I got a call from a couple of people at this number stating that I owed $840 and if I didn't pay they would have me arrested.  They have all my information. I reported this to the FTC but I don't know what else to do. They have been calling my job as well.

This indian guy named "Brian Smith" keeps calling me saying I owe money or I'm going to jail....Its an iden***y theft, money scam so they can rip you off. Have reported to BBB in Colorodo Springs where the phone number originates, but I don't anyone can do anything about it.

They called my friend to get to me and when I was able to call them back the guy said his name was "Brian Smith" even though he sounded like he was form India. Anyways, he said that I owed US Band $14,000 and that I could take care of this matter by paying $465 today or he was going to send my information to "the court house". He wouldn't send me any info on the debt and said that he was just going to send over my information. I called back later in the day and told them that I was going to report them and the guy got really upset. The bad part was that he had my full SSN, so I am pretty freaked!
