This phone number is the old phone number for Bruno's **** Tavern otherwise known as Jess&Doll's otherwise known as the old Santa Fe Tavern that was located at 315 N. Santa Fe in Pueblo CO.  The business Bruno's **** Joynt is now closed, and that number as far as I know has not been in existence since 2006.  I just thought I'd give this a mention because I worked there and recognized the old phone number.  There is now a bridal shop at this location.  Taz

Just got a voice mail message from Lisa leaving me the 800-877-2681 number to call back. Said she wanted to verify day time phone number and address and that it is very important that I contact them today. I am not calling them back cause I don't owe them anything. Wished we could stop this kinda ****!!

Anyone Interested in a class action a***nst this so called american acceptance.  you may email me at: [email protected]   We need to act now to do what is right, this has to be stopped.   Just check out all the info. online about what their track record is. This is a crime, and they are getting away with it.

I got a call yes****ay at 8:22pm. I didnt anwser this because I dont know who it was. Plus I was at work at the time. John told me to call 800-877-2681. It was in my best to call back. They cant take anything out of my account can they? This is crazy to threaten people! Go and get a real job!!

Original call came in January.  Long discussion with Mary Adams who said my husband's check would be garnished.  Would accept about $1500 for a $5000 debt that had gone to court.  I asked for do***entation and then she told me that if she sent it that we'd have to pay the entire amount.  I asked her to send it anyway along with the info of the lawyer she was working with so my lawyer could contact her's directly.  She ended up yelling at me repeatedly then told me that the entire conversation was recorded.  I said that was great and asked her to send a copy of the tape as well as threatening garnishment is illegal in collection calls.  I never received anything from them.Received a call from Jessica today.  She asked for hubby.  I asked her straight away to send what she had via mail. She told me that she was trying to verify the address and daytime location of my husband.  I told her that Mary Adams had all that information and she promptly ***g up on me. We have no outstanding debt at all, and there is nothing in my husband's credit report that is outstanding either.  I am afraid that these people are fishing for money hoping to scare others into sending it to them without justification.

I received this terrible call, the person was a Cinthia Johnson, they were abusive, and threatened me,I was so terrified, and they had this huge story, of a Citibank credit card that was from 1988 to 1998, and that It had not been paid, and it had accured intrest of over $26,000.  They stated they are in court & that it had to be paid immediately.  I was so upset because I always pay my bills on time.  I'm 100 per. cent disabled with fibromyalgia, and have cognative problems due to the disease.   I was forced to tell them my debit number, and they took out $999.99.  I live on disability, and this was all the funds I had for the month.  Now my bank is investigating it, and if they find no problems, they will not rembursh me.  I've been robbed & have no idea, what I can do about it.  I've talked with the police, and they think I should try & work it out with them.  This is not my bill, or my problem.   They would not give me any paperwork, or show any information proving that this  is mine.  They say they are going to garnish my bank account.    I have been really sick, and have not slept a night since this occured.   How can this be allowed, why are these people even in business.  Do we not have rights???  What are the laws to prevent this from continuing?

my husband got a call today and he too was very upset.  Mary Adams (legal - Right???)...threatened to garnish our account for 10k for a bill he knows nothing about.  They claim that this was sent to litigation over 16 times and we never responded.  I can****ure you we would have responded.  She said they could take $200 over the phone now or they would garnish 10k tonight (this was our last chance) for a debt that was $2300 in 1998. They cannot tell us what the debt was for, why etc.  We asked for proof and they don't have any...I am all for Class action

I was called tonight and was yelled at and told that my bank account was going to be garnished.  They said that they had sent letters and spoke to me about a visa card I held with a bank.  They said I could do these 3 options of payments tonight or my bank account would be garnished. I didn't have any idea of what was going on and I gave them autherization to take money out of my bank.  I had no idea what was going on.............I just got a divorce granted today and was in a very abusive relatinship, was told that she was in the same type of abusive relationship..................bullied me into giving my bank debit card and was told that an e-mail was going to be sent to me immidiatly................which hasn't.  I did have the credit card they were talking about, but it was over 3 times my limit.  I was very afraid that they were going to garnish my acct.  I'm on disability, and I have checks out to pay my utilities, and can't afford for them to bounce.  In the county i live in they will put you in jail for bounced checks.  I didn't know anything about it.  I never recieved any mail, any appearances in court or anything.  I have post traumatic stress disorder and they actually made me have a very bad anxiety attack.  Don't they have to notify the person on the account what is going on?  I know if anything was mailed my ex would not have given it to me because he said he was paying all the bills.   I bring in 710 a month, and my abusive ex is not paying child support.  They terrified me.  I didn't think they could do that.  And they said they could not fax or e-mail me anything to prove what they were saying.  Isn't there a law a***nst that? and when I tried to call back from the number they gave me and what showed up on my ID no-one answered.   Is this legit or is it a scam?  How can they garnish your account without notifying you  of what is happening?

Once you ask for debt validation, they cannot contact you until the backup you requested is provided.  I called American Acceptance back at 800-877-2681 and asked for a fax number and was told they do not have one.  They gave me a physical address of:  6050 Stetson Hills Blvdl, Colorado Springs, CO  80922.  I just wanted a fax number so I could give them my validation request in writing but I will mail them a certified letter instead!

Call from American Acceptance 719-543-6048.  Spoke with a female who patched me through to "Mary Adams" their legal representative in Pueblo, Co.  She said the file is in legal but did not know the agency name offhand.  Never received call disclosure, she went right into garnishing wages and how they have a judgment in their favor, etc.  She said the original debt was for a Providian Visa and is now a WAMU debt and is only $1056.75 but they would take a credit card settlement for $834.01 and she would email me a letter stating everything would not reflect on the credit report.  She said I would have to pay today because they had reported it to the credit bureau 32 days ago.  She said this is not on credit report but collection report, not accessible to consumers.  I told her I had to talk to hubby and call her back.  I called back to ask for validation of the debt and was told to pay today or the settlement offer was no longer valid.  I asked for copies of the backup and she said I would be charged and it takes from 90-100 days to get it and when they do get the media, it is due in full.  I have a right guaranteed by the FDCPA asking for debt validation.  I am not paying anything until I am shown the original debt back from 1999.  *****heads.

We received a call from them too, her name is Lisa but didn't identify from which firm or company she is representing.  Saying that we are being sued for $5,000.00 from 2000 and that our banks and****essts are frozen and our wages are going to be garnished.  Who are these people?  I agree with Deano... class action lawsuit!  They were trying to get information about our bank accounts and ssn.

I got you beat, these ****s called me about some B.S. from 1998 that took place in a state I have not been in since 1993. Not very nice either, I'm thinking class action lawsuit.

debt from 1995 harrasing phone calls for the last two months

I've had two employees who has continued to harrase me for the last two months about a vechile I return in 1995 or 1996 they are claiming that I still owe for the car.Jessica and Mary Adams where the ladys I spoke to.I have two witness who listen to them both **** up on me when I stated that this was a dead account over 12 years old. They continued to say tha they would garnish my bank account. I ask them not to call me anymore.I don't know if they listened to me because they would hanb up. I call three times. Mary Adams accused me of cursing which was not true.
