Leave a CommentResponded to a lost cat report. Said they had our cat but wanted payment for food and toys. Sent a picture to us of our cat but the picture was altered. We did a search on this number and found it was****ociated to numerous scams. The person said they were nearby and wanted proof of ownership and demanded a picture of us with the cat. Told them we knew it was a scam. They stopped responding.
They responded to our lost cat message and requested a reward for cat food and toys they spent. They refused to say where cat was found or any of their own personal info. I accused them of trying to scam us and was immediately blocked.
Told us they may have our lost cat. Told us where to meet them and once we got there, they asked for a photo of me and cat as “proof ownership”. They also Asked for a reward and for a “refund” for food and toys. Sent us two pics of similar cats. After 15 minutes of waiting for them, I googled their phone number and saw all these scam reviews. Told them we were leaving and they quit texting us.
Claimed they had my pet ferret and when i asked for a picture they sent a picture but when i asked where they were, they stopped answering.

They took my pet and claimed ransom. Happy I was able to get my cat back from them in good health after I paid $150. What a sad thing to do.
Claims that they have my pet that I lost, sent a realistic picture- but I did a search of the phone number and saw all these scam messages. Such a horrible thing to do!

Claimed to have lost pet and sent a photo. Said they bought toys and food. They wouldn’t be specific where they found her and wouldn’t take a call. Their voicemail was an automated message with no human voice. I told them to drop her off at a nearby vet and they stopped responding.
Person claimed to have my cat. When they refused to let me confirm him, they demanded money that I couldn't CashApp or anything, I accused them of trying to scam due to the set up and then they got mad a stopped responding. They even took the time to use pics of a similar cat.
