This is the second time they have tried this with me. My husband is a police officer and when I s**** asking for there name and badge number and department they work for so my husband can look into them. They get very mad and tell me dont call anymore. Lol I think it is pretty funny how they go from being a police officer who is going to put me in jail to telling me dont call them anymore. If anyone is getting these calls I suggest u do the same or tell them u r reporting them to the police and block there number

Yep, I got a voicemail...same exact everything all the posts on this site mentioned except it seemed he couldn't make up a name, so he called himself "Michael Bob".   Sigh, yet another report on the FTC site...these guys are just ******.

I got a call from this number, and I could not understand his name.  I wrote down Paul Thomas, very sad accent.  It's a scam, because any payday loans I have out standing they were not done in georgia.  I looked up the area code.

I just got a voicemail on my work voicemail.  Very thick Indian? accent.  I could only understand about every other word.  Also claiming to be an "officer" and it's a legal matter and blah, blah, blah.  Lots of talk intended to scare people.  If you owe payday loans, contact the lender directly and pay them.  No guarantee these calls will stop but it can't hurt.

I got the same phone call from the same Indian guy.  I told him that i was reporting his number to the FBI and FCC.  he ***g up.  I tried call him back a few times to cuss him out but they ***g up.  Boy i was so ****ed.

The same guy ( roy wilson) called my place of employment and threatend me if I didn't pay this so called loan I took out, I would be arrested, its scary because he knows my ssn. How do I put a stop to this? Should I call the BBB and make a complaint?  Please help I'm desperate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A man with a very thick Indian accent, identifying himself as an investigator calls my place of work asking for someone who may or may not be an employee - very large company and I don't know everyone's name. He calls daily, several times a day. Today I asked him for a badge number and what s****ed as a very good connection suddenly s****ed breaking up. He said he was sorry but I was breaking up and he couldn't hear me. Convenient! I told him if he can't give me a badge # I will contact the FCC, which I have done. Anyone receiving these calls, please call the Federal Trade Commission, FTC ,not FCC. The toll free number is 877-382-4357. Maybe if they get enough complaints so****ing can be done to stop these *****s!

I just received a phone call this morning from an officer Ronald SMith and Officer Roy WIlson from the United States Investigations Bureau informing me that I had serious allegations on me regarding a payday loan i defaulted on in the amount of $500 and could settlt now or would face charges and be arrested if i didn't take care of it in three hours.  I asked to have the allegations repeated but was refused and told not to talk or ask qustions.  A case number was given to me.  I asked what the name of the company was and was told EME Marketing.  I googled it and found it is a mortgage loan company and not a payday loan.  Anybody receive the same phone call?

This is the latest scam.  Yes if you have ever given any info online it has been sold to everyone. Just remember you can not be served any type of legal paper by phone.  Want to make them stop? Tell them thank you for calling the FBI Fraud Unit and that you have been waiting for the call.  Ask the person's name, SSN,   Original county of call, not routed thru number etc.  If they s**** cussing you or getting angry and I know they will;  s**** laughing at everything they say, and throw in that "according to US Federal Law you have to inform them that they are being recorded for the US District ATTYS Office.  If they haven't ***g up by this time I will be very surprised.

I HAVE HAD THREATING PHONE CALLS FROM THIS COMPANY. IT WAS AN INDIAN GUY NAME ROY WILSON AND A WEKK OR SO A GUY NAMED DAVEY JONES. WHAT SHOULD i DO ABOUT THIS. THESE GUYS HAVE OUR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER AND EVERYHTING.

A man with a very strong Indian accent, called and left a voicemail for me indicating he was a police officer, and was trying to reach me for a reference call? Now, for beginners, he couldn't*****ounce my VERY easy last name, its very common, and there was no information on what it was regarding, just to call him back at his personal number.

A man with an Indian accent calls my place of employment as an Investigator. I refuse to deal with them because they are scam artists!

A man name officer Roy Wilson is claiming I BARROWED $500 from a company he cant directly name and threaten to have me arrested if i didnt pay by 3pm.

I am so sick and trier of these Indian people calling my job...its very frutrating

This is one of those Indian harrassment callers who try to collect on a non-existent debt. They buy names from payday loan companies with your personal info so that they can try to get money from you! SCAM!
