The Only Way To Stop These Kinds Of Calls Is To Make Them Pay. Always Answer - They Have To Pay For Completed Call. Keep Them Talking As Long As Possible With Fake Info So They Have To Pay More.

Same thing with this number for us.  They're a waste of my cell minutes and will not stop and i have no outstanding debts.  They also won't stop.  I tell them to send me do***entation and they say they won't until i've given them my social to "prove" who i am.  Thing is, i figure, if they are holding a valid debt, there shouldn't be any reason to NOT send me do***entation without the need for my social.  After all, the girl said she knows where i live.  Oy.  Anyway, don't listen to the jacka** above me.  Impersonating a police officer is a felony.  Even if it's just to try and get rid of annoying phone calls.  Getting jail time isn't a good idea just so you can be rid of some ******, *****pot debt collection agency.  Keep in mind, real company or not, w***ver this company is, you can be sure they're recording their phone calls.  Trust.

easiest way to get rid of them... Call them back and say that your detective such and such from x police department. they will remove your phone number faster than white on rice :) good luck!

i keep getting a call from this number as well. Its just a recording saying I have to call back if I want to talk to someone or to press one to make an automated payment. Why would I make a payment to so****ing that i dont even know what they are calling about.  Everytime I contact this number it says leave a message for a call back or to hold on the line to talk to someone. For some odd reason, everytime i hold on the line, 2 seconds later, the recording says all representatives are busy and to call back.

Calls every day, 4 times today and it is Sunday! Never leaves a message and is rude when I ask who's calling. I searched the number and it is to a "denovus corp" or 'Novus'.(bill collector) They seem to be re-routing their number through local (your area) numbers to reach people. They keep asking for Dawn, who does NOT live here and when I ask them to remove my number... Well, I have been asking for over a week now... It hasn't gotten me very far and asking for the 'higher ups' doesn't help either.Good luck with these pests.

Calls almost every day. Sometimes twice. Even called me on sunday.
