Yes, they called me on my cell phone at work. I rejected the call as I did not recognize the number. I am also on the do not call list, and do not have unlimited minutes on my phone, so do not appreciate these creeps using up my minutes, which is why I reject #'s I don't recognize. I figure if it is important, or is someone I know, they will leave a message.
Lot of good it does to put your cell number on the state and national "do not call" lists - these bozos just robo-called me to sell insurance, then cut off the call when I chose "1" to speak to a representative to ask them if they're familiar with the term, "Do-Not-Call list".
INSURANCE SCAM/QUOTE. AND I HAVE MY CELL# ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST.
Claims to be public service announcement, but is selling insurance. This just screams "SCAM". Also, it makes me (and I'm sure a lot of other people) super angry to get a call like this while I'm at work.
"This is a public service announcement"
Selling auto insurance.
Insurance scam. Caller claims to obtain information from the state DMV that would be illegal for them to obtain.
