Free trailer on craigslist....same claim.....75 yr old, kid passed from cancer, and was an Army Vet....the trailer was in the free section of craigslist....too nice of a trailer to be free....was too good to be true.

Scam for Airstream trailer

Guy said his name is James who is 75, son was in the army and died of cancer. Supposedly giving away an Airstream trailer.

Scammed me out of $3200 for shipping and fees for what was supposed to be a Free motorhome. Uses the story of his military son dying from cancer in 2020 during COVID. Says he's in the hospital and receiving dialysis and is 75 years old. Is now asking for more money they claim customs at california/oregon border is requiring for taxes and registeration. Customs at that border only checks for Food and Agricultural issues. It's againt the law for them to try and collect for taxes and registration fees.
