They called saying that they were as division of the FDIC and were investigating fraudulent bank transfers under my iden***y. The information they were providing kept get worse including that the US Marshall had a warrant out for me. When they wanted to know the balance in my checking and savings account I ***g up. They kept calling back until I finally answered. They wanted to know why I ***g up, I told them that I was trying to due my diligence because I was not comfortable that they were who they said they were, and that departments of the federal government rarely made first contact via telephone. Their response was “thank you for our time”.
