very annoying will keep calling back till you make a donation. worse thing is it says local call probaly to get around do not call list but the number listed isn't even local.

I just called the number back and got their automated answering system.  It is the Military Order of the Purple Heart charity according to the recording I heard.

calls here often.  When answering service comes on they **** up

called on June 17, 2009, at 6:05 PM  I have caller ID, no name, just Local Area call.  They didn't leave a message, but I will keep a log, and report them to the do not call registry.

Yes I got the exact same phone call except that same Robert guy (he called himself Bob during the phone call) said he was asking for my mother. I told him she wasn't home and that's when he said "Alright well tell her Robert called." When I asked from where he only replied "No where special just planet Earth." Quite frustrating really...I later tried to call back but it wouldn't allow me to.

Received a call. Rang twice. No message.

Someone named "Robert" called from this number and asked to speak with my husband. When I asked to take a message, he just said "nah, I'll call back later" and ***g up. Since the area code is not local, I suspect a telemarketer.
