Same deal. Message cut off half way though saying legal proceedings will occur if I don't call them back.

Has called many times today saying I owe IRS money. Have 24 hours to pay or going to jail. Have blocked call but still receiving voice mail.

Telling me that I have 24 hours to contact them or I would be arrested by the cops. The IRS never calls people. They send mail.

Automated message saying you are under investigation by the IRS and local authorities will be taking into custody. Definitely a scam. The IRS sends letters and garnishes wages. They do not call you.

Calling to say I am in trouble and need a lawyer or I 'll go to jail I owe money call them back but no answer when I called back

This person is claiming to be from FBI stating that he's calling on behalf of the IRS and stating that your under investigation for tax invasion.
