number called showed up 1009 on caller id...said they were calling from Alabama Civic Code and i had a law suit filed a***nst me and a gave me this number to call.  Shouldnt it be a alabama number to call back?   This is a scam....beware

I received this phone call too. They promised me and two of my sisters money.Neither one of us received the money and they took money from my checking account. They gave us bogus phone numbers to contact them at and all of my hard earned money was taken. Can some one PLEASE HELP.

MY FRIEND CALLED IN DECEMBER AND THEY TOLD HER THAT THEY HAVE TO GET RIDE OF ALL THE MONEY THEY HAVE TO GIVE FOR THAT YEAR SO SHE WOULD HAVE TO GIVE THEM AN ACCOUNT # I TOLD HER THAT IF IT FREE MONEY WHY WOULD SHE HAVE TO GIVE THEM AN ACCOUNT OF  HER OWN ACCOUNT THEY ARE NOTHING BUT A SCAM.......THIS IS JUST TO LET YOU GUYS KNOW THAT SOME THING LIKE THIS HAPPRN TO ME BEFORE AND THEY TOOK $2500 FROM MY ACCOUNT SO THAT WHY I KNOW WHAT THEY ARE ABOUT AND TELL ALL MY FRIENDS ABOUT IT

A friend of my daughter told me about this after hearing about it from her cousin.  She was told two people actually got the money, then told her cousin.  A total of about 12 people were told via this cousin.  None of us got any money.  I checked on google and found out this is a big scam.  I was told by a Michael that I was approved for 5600 and for every person referred, I would get 400.  The money was supposed to be deposited on Dec 10th and the fee 0f $299 would be taken from the 5600.  Of course there was no deposit.  I closed the account.  And most of all learned, Don't trust people with your most prized positions, "Your Iden***y".  Nothing is free in this society, except Salvation.

the same thing happened to me november 30th, 2007 ....luckly my sister did a lilk research and told me i immedialtely c****ed all the information that i gave them...all in the same day 2 hours after i got off the phone with them...they told me i was granted $6,100..and an extra $400 dollars for who ever i gve the name too dnt fall for it...it's all a scamm...money is not free!!! call the police right away ....i hope they catch the people who is doing this!!these people could barley speak English...

Caller is directing victim to give routing and account # so that they can deliver funds.  However, they will draft $360 from your account, plus much more!!!! This is a scam......no legitimate business would make you pay a fee to recieve grant funds or lottery funds.

Thee people are going around the mobile, Al area spreading****ors and lying about who they are and what they are going to send to your account.  Do not!  I repeat do not give any personal information to these peole or others saying there's so****ing for nothing.Nothing that simple.  Call the police immediately!
