Read all the complaints.  So what can be done about these calls?  What is the purpose of posting these messages.  Who do we make a formal complaint to?  This sight ****s because it serves no purpose except to vent!

They call me all the time too! Glad I googled this... Anything we can do to stop it?

My caller ID says Maureen Hawkins.  I returned the call once and there was a ma****e.  The reverse directory says the call is out of Point Pleasant, New Jersey and that the name is unpublished.

They are still at it - is there any way to get them to stop?

today they called as "Hawkins,  Maureen", who a google shows to be a legitimate poet...this however was the bad people... ***g up when I said wife was not available...

I echo everyone's comments above.  We have been getting "Community Awareness" calls for months - we never answer.  Last night "Maureen Hawkins" called and we did not pick up (though it was tempting since it looked like it might be someone we know).  I appreciate this website and everyone's comments - very helpful!

call from 732-746-3178 Maureen Hawkins (called under other aliases too like Consumer Awareness) asking for donations for various police and retired firefighter's****ociations).  won't stop calling

they call my home nearly everyday.  This time it said Maureen Hawkins

I get calls from this number almost every day and sometimes more than once. I keep turning it in to the FCC but have not heard anything. Got another call tonight at 6PM. no answer, Called the number back and was told You have reached a number that is no longer in service. Can anyone help me to stop these calls.

Calls several times a week comes up so****ing called Community Awareness

They call almost everyday.  Most times, no one speaks when I answer the phone.  Today, someone spoke.  Said they were not selling anything, just looking for support.  I asked the caller to take our tel # off their list.  He said he cannot do that because the government considers non-profits too important.

Calls several times a day. Asked to speak with my mother and I stated that she wasnt home. When I asked to take a message, he ***g up on me. I called the number back immediately and it stated that the number was not in service.

Get called daily, sometimes 3 times in one day. caller ID says Community Aware. reverse lookup states its a landline located in Mt Pleasnat,NJ.  Try to call minutes after tonite's call and I'm told "this phone # is no longer in service"

they calle dmy office TODAy. I called it back and it just rang for 5 minutes.

Calls every day at any time....who are they?  Coming up on caller ID as Capital****ist but thak you for caller ID I never answer it.  Try to call back and it just rings

Just a scam. Try to redial the number and your told it is not in service. Any company that uses a phony a** caller ID is obviously a phoney a** company

These people call me almost daily. They are pushy and relentless. My favorite is when they claim Idonated to them in the past

732-746-3178. Some outfit who claims they want donations for police to purchase bullet proof vests. This is from New Jersey.....the land of the Sopranos! Duh...I don't think so!

person has been calling leaving no messages or ****ing up many times have called telephone number to let no numbers thru that are sales calls or money calls they still get thu any way.
