i just received a text from this number saying 'hey wats up' -- nice spelling. i too, wrote back with 'who is this?' & i received the 'sorry for botherin u i text the wrong number' response.  based on the previous posts about this number, i'm a little creeped out.  i also received a phone call from an 'unavailable' number 2 days ago; i answered, said*****o twice, and then w***ver was calling, ***g up.  has anyone ever tracked this creep down or heard of him being apprehended?  i don't like that i have the same area code as this thing.

Same thing as the person above me, got a text saying "Happy new years". I responded back "Thanks, but who is this and why don't I have your number".  They responded back, "Sorry for bothering you I dialed the wrong number".  Googled his number and this is what I found. Very scary

my texts s****ed the same with "r we meeting up," then, "sorry wrong number." i thought it was weird when he asked age/ cute... but i thought it was funny to mention i was pregnant, married, (and ad libbed) that i was 6ft tall, pleasantly plump, chubby chaser, looking for a meal ticket. i thought that was hilarious until he continued with genuine questions... since i was with my hubby i****umed it was a joke from a friend (yes, we have some friends that would do this,) but it got old quick. i told him to stop texting and so far he's listened.

2 random texts from this character.  One "you still awake?" > "sorry, wrong number" > "are you a guy or a girl?" set of texts.  That was a few months ago.  Just got one ten minutes ago asking me what I was doing tonight.  Told him/her to stop texting.

I received the "hey u" message on 6/10/09 at 9:21PM.  Didn't respond.

I just got the "hey wat r u doin" also. I was tempted to write back "spelling like an adult" but I just ignored it.

Got "hey u stil [sic] awake" from this number. I saw what was written here and told him to eff off.

Sent a text "hey u what r u doing" at 11:30PM  I wrote back the next morning "who is this" and didn't hear from him a***n.

This guy's a big time ******.  Seems like he's somewhere in the range if teens to early twenties.  Either way, immature, especially to be doing this.He sent me a text asking if I was still awake, when I asked who he was he said wrong number, sorry to bother you.  I said no problem and he responded with "r u a guy or girl"  At this point I found him kinda weird, so I googled his number and found this thread.  After reading the previous responses, I confronted him and harassed him a bit.  He told me he wasn't gonna talk to a guy at 3 in the morning and asked me to stop texting him, so I did.  He's definitely pretty weird and along the lines of a ***ual predator.This guy is a loser, who picks up chicks by texting random numbers?  Verizon should tell his mommy.
