This scam has been covered in the DETROIT FREE PRESS. The guy behind this scam makes $$$$$ off of it. He threatened violence when confronted by WJBK reporters. WJBK put him in the "Hall Of Shame".the company is politically connected and does whatever it wants.

4/11/2011, 11:06 Am, Michigan call, no message, getting a lot of calls from all over the county lately, from these S***BAGS. These A##holes, M/f's, must be using a Robocall system. I boycott anyone that calls me. Busy tone on call back,that means there are using a Robocall system and they are a telemarker.

Got multiple calls from this number daily for weeks. Finally answered (usually do not pick up if I don't know number) and there was a lot of background noise and a woman says "hello?" Having about enough of calls like this I said, "DO NOT CALL ME THIS LATE!!!" And ***g up on them. Yes, it was mean. But after so many calls and having calls like this **** up on me or harrass me, and others, I had no patience left. UGH

This number was caller ID'd and labeled "Michigan Number". The guy identified himself as being from "Children's Wish Network" and called me 3 minutes past 9pm, my normal bedtime as I'm up at 5am. When I told him this and reminded him that he wasn't supposed to call after 9pm, he didn't apologize, but rather said "No, we're supposed to call until we're done calling" and promptly ***G UP on me. I was tempted to call him back on my cell but decided I was too angry to deal with him. I was in the middle of saying that cold callers weren't allowed to call past 9pm. Did this c****e? And the charity allowance, is that not limited to organizations you have given to at some point? I've never made a donation to this organization. I am on the Do Not Call list too.

They called me today around noon and asked for Scott. When I said that Scott has not lived here for the past three years and you have dialed an incorrect number. They seemed taken back when I mentioned that no Scott, so I just ***g-up on them.

When I answered the phone you could tell the line was open, than you hear a click and then nothing. This number keeps calling a couple times a week.

Have no idea who this is and as I have found out from this site it is a fake number.

I usually do not answer calls from toll free or unfamiliar area codes but I did answer this one.  It was just another organization wanting to relieve me of some of my limited resources allegedly for the benefit of children with a certain disease.
