Phone scam text message on my CELL PHONE! GAVE a credit card number -last 4 digits - said it was being cancelled. 1) I have no such credit card, 2) It was on my cell phone listed on DO NOT CALL REGISTRY 3) I do not pay for texting so this WAS AN EXTRA CHARGE ON MY CELL PHONE. Local phone number is registered UNDER BROADWING COMMUNICATIONS. SINCE THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT BROADWING LISTED ANYWHERE ON THE WEB, I CAN ONLY BELIEVE BROADWING IS PART OF THE SCAM.

A friend and I got the same message within two minutes of each other and they used the same account #.  We laughed but are really irritated.

i also got this text twice and then another one from an automotive FCU. Someone need to do so****ing about the idiots

This number was used in an attempt to steal my credit card information. The owner is a thief and should be prosecuted!

I got a text message that says: CSCU: Your CARD s****ing with 4626 has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 734-437-0898 to REACTIVATE your CARD.

Got the same call and message last nite at 8:30 PM EST.  Fraud in the Detroit metro area???  I'm shocked!  I guess someone needed some additional credit so they could finish their holiday shopping....Merry Christmas!

I, My husband, and my 12 year old got the same message...i called the number a few minutes ago and it is "being checked for trouble'

Got the same call and message. Message is a scam. do not give your phone number or account info.

same thing, twice.  definitely a scam.

Funny thing about this number and this new scam is this: ALL credit cards s**** with the same number: Visa has a set and Master Card has a different set of the first 4 numbers: so they give you the s**** of say a Visa card 4626**** only ALL Visa cards s**** with these numbers!  What a bunch of creeps!

I got the same this evening. It's an SMS phishing attack. The purported ins***ution is CoOp Services Credit Union. I have done work for them in the past for issues like this

Got a text message on my cell phone saying: [email protected]: Your Card S****ing With 4626***Has Been Deactivated.Please contact us at 734-437-0898 to REACTIVATE YOUR CARD. CB:734-437-0898.This is a scam and I'm reporting it to the police.

I called and enter a gift cards number. they ask for exp date and CURRENT PIN then ask for a new PIN. I got one of these calls after I had ***g up paying a bill online. I almost fell for it! Anyway, I can see how some folks would esp if they are worried about their bills and money. Keep your senses!!

I received a text message from this number about "my card  being deactivated". I called the number back from a blocked number and it just beeped and ***g up twice! I can't believe there are so many scammers out there

This is the second time they've called me saying my card s****ing with such and such numbers has been deactivated.  I had to think about this for a minute because the credit union where I opened up my account has that area code...it's in Romulus, MI.  I put in a fake card number just to see what would happen and I got disconnected three times!

Got the same message that my card was deactivated  It's all B.S.
