I just got one of these too. The numbers are categorized as cell phones based in Wayne, MI by whitepages.com. I'm not gonna spend any money to find out more. I'll leave that up to the cops.

I contacted cscu and this is a phishing scam. Do not give them any information. Cscu is s****ing an investigation now.

Yeah, I just got the same message too. It's bogus. Someones just trying to get your credit card info.

Although 734-612-4612 is identified as being a land line in Wayne, Michigan, the Ann Arbor Police Department says this number is more likely set up as a "repeater" through another computer and that since there are so many of these kinds of scams, there is nothing they can do. Just don't fall victim to the crime, yourself, by replying.

I just received the same text. It says COOP Services CU Alert: Your card s****ing with 4626 has been Deactivated Please call 734*612*5784. This must be a scam. I didn't call the number and I don't plan on it after reading the other messages.

I got the exact same message on Jan 21, 2011 at 5:21 pm, with the exact four digits of my so-called card (4626). Clearly a fraudulent message.

Please call: 734-612-5784.When I call, an electronic voice, identifying itself as calling from Co-op Services Credit Union, prompts me to enter my 16 digit card numer. I****ume that this is so they can harvest my card info.
