Scammer

Just got that red and white card on my door in ferndale.

Its 2011 and they came to my door in a suit and tie with an unopened roll of bount paper towels. I am very close to warren and roseville mi. They left a flyer about merchanise bein held for me - just like you other people describe to a T. But the dates of others are 2008 and 2009. Why are they still out here in 2011? Very strange coming to my door and then leave in a car - already running and drive away, stopping at no other homes. Suit and tie carrying paper towels? This is disturbing

It is illegal for them to leave flyers in your mailbox w/o a permit from your post office.  Report them to the Post Office for violating the law as a thank you for harassing you.

We found the red and white card on our front door in Warren as well.  Didn't try calling.  Got on line right away to see what was up.  Glad I found this site.  Thanks for the heads up!!!

Got a red and white card (flyer) stating immediate action required!! goes on to say We are holding an item of merchandise for you> PLEASE CALL FOR DELIVERY INFORMATION! I live in the brownstown community of Fredericks Estate. Guess there are casing our community now!!

I work for rino and****ocoiaties......havent s****ed yet...but it is a legit business....i promise i wont be as rude to the****ential customers as i see u people have come across...lamo

Ha very funny they left one on my door as well.After the demonstration told him not interested.Once a***n got very rude and said the same things as stated above.The guy really had ***** since i go 6'5" 240 lbs.But what really made him want to leave when i brought out my 2 100 lb rottweilers.I think he got the drift.DO NOT LET THEM IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got the card also in my door in royal oak. I called the number and the girl that answered ***g up on me, so I called back and said that was very rude to **** up on someone , so she did it a***n. Thanks for letting me know that this is a scam.

IT'S A SCAM. These people will offer you a free gift and a free carpet cleaning just to watch a demonstration. They will spend at least 2 hours in your home showing you an overpriced cleaner, they are asking about $2000 for a vacuum. Then when you tell them you aren't interested they get rude and hateful with you and make you feel bad for not buying the product by saying things like "I guess you don't think having a clean house is important" and "so...do you like living in filth?" These people are rude...they stay forever and they will come to your house late at night please beware I am trying to warn everyone of this scam. I will NEVER let them in my home a***n. Please be safe and don't let these people fool you!!

I received one of these cards and tried to call and no answer. Just to top it off I was there when they dropped if off,to weird. They knocked on the door when she left the card and got back into their vechile and left. I am going to try calling a***n to see what they say. I'll get back to this once they answer and I will leave a reply if they answer the phone.

Yeah I got a card on my door as well. I called and they offered a free carpet cleaning or furniture cleaning. My husband said***** NO! U cant trust people all in your home. They may try 2 come back and break into our home. DONT TRUST THEM, MORE THAN LIKELY ITS A SCAM. SO BEWare!!!

well i just wanted to say that those kirby people are evil. they actually have a list of "lies" that people tell to not buy one. it includes talking to your spouse. they really are just trying to get people to buy this overzealous vacuum. they want to come and clean your carpet to show you that you "need" their product and they try and pressure you into it. i just wanted everyone to know to call the police because they have no license to go door to door. you have the ability to stop them. just thought everyone should know what they do is actually illegal.

these guys came to the house to demonstrate the vacuum.  we wanted to leave so we kept asking them to leave but he kept telling us some story about how he had to finish everything on his list! Somehow he ended up cleaning the house for 2 hours and it was so uncomfortable later when two other very sketchy looking gentlemen came into the house to 'check' his work. We did not buy the vacuum of course, and we actually ended up going to the police station to leave a complaint because we became so su****ious when they left...best bet is to not let them in at all!

WE GOT A CLEANING FROM THESE KIRBY PEOPLE AND BECAME SO SU****IOUS AFTERWARDS THAT WE WENT TO THE POLICE STATION AND THEN TO WAYNE CITY TO CHECK OUT THE ADDRESS TO SEE IF IT WAS LEGIT. WE DID FIND A RHINO INC. WITH A NOW HIRING SIGN IN THE FRONT OF IT BUT IT WAS STILL VERY WEIRD TO HAVE SALESMEN TRYING TO CLEAN CARPETS SO LATE AT NIGHT. JUST SAY NO IF THEY ASK TO COME INTO YOUR HOME.

I called the number and they want to sell a kirby, so they are offering free cleaning of carpet or furniture.

I got the same thing.  I'm in Roseville.  I called the number at 9:30pm and it just rang and rang.
