I asked for more information on when and who I was alleged to have borrowed from and they refused to give me anything. Said I must pay before the end of the call or they will pursue legal action with two criminal charges. They did have my personal information.

This number 7373047025 1st called me from a machine.then when I called the number back a man answered and said that I had owed a company didn't say from where and that they were trying to take me to court

Seems these folks bought PII from people who applied for payday loans about 8 years ago and then are trying to use that to extract money from vulnerable people.

Calling to the point of har***ment saying me saying I owe them money. Seems like there may have been a data breach because they have personal information. However they told me I have to do the “leg work” in getting information from the company when I pressed them on it.

pay day loan taken out over 20 years ago. advised the corporate office is ez money but could not give a name of the payday loan place. asked if i had ever taken out a loan in my life so i had to have done this. had all my info. threating me to freeze my account for the money. person would not provide any info but just saying she is doing her JOB and trying to keep me from being sued.

They called me and texted. Also texted various family members. They started I took out a payday loan and never paid it back from my employer. Which doesn’t even make sense. They had had some of my information which was slightly concerning however I refused to verify anything.

Said had 2 complaints - defrauding a financial institution and p***ing a fraudulent check, said I had provided current pay stubs from employer for payday loan in 2016 except I left that employer in 2012. Closed bank acct they said i p***ed bad check on in 2012 also. They also texted my adult kids/family members. When I told the guy I knew it was a scam he hung up on me.
