my name does not matter as the cell phone they call is not in my name and I will not call back as I do not recognize this number. I do not know how they got this number to begin with since I live in Kansas and the phone is from Oklahoma.
******* f***ing Qwest sons of b***hes.They completely mishandled my account. They advertise they can combine billing with verizon but since my wife was on the qwest and my name on the verizon bill they needed to do a c****e of responsibility.Long story short they ****ed my old account created a new one and my last bill i paid they credited my new account!!!! Meanwhile now my old account is over a month overdue; not paid unbeknown to me and i get calls from a collection agency. After reaming them a new one and setting the ******* f*** QWEST people straight; my wife and I receive calls on a sa****ay morning waking me up and them not saying a word.I google it and find all these other stories of a complete incompetent company. Qwest I hope you go the way of the *****ic slow shiftless unc****ing newspaper and postal service industries.
It's West****et Management, a collection agent for Qwest. Switched to Comcast, in part because of lousy phone service, in part because of even worse DSL line (just 128k!) THey sent three different final bills and the total was different each time. I told that when they finally figure out what my total REALLY is, then I'll pay it. Their response was to turn me over to the above named airheads, with no further consultations

WAM is Qwest's collection company of choice. We c****ed to our cable provider for service recently and in the c****e, neglected the small, final QWEST bill. After 20 years of service to me, it took QWEST only 30 days to send this to West****et Managment. Our first call, last night at 9:30 PM CST. RUDE guy...deep voice... so****ing came across his desk. MY credit score is near 800 so I know there is not a collection out for me, so I googled today...found the connection, paid my bill online on QWEST's site, called QWEST and rep told me that was their collection company. I told him that the press online was not friendly toward the relationship and he said yes, WAM can be a bit rough. Nice! Don't let them scare you. If you call Qwest, they will iron it out. ______ at QWEST told me he would put in the notice to stop calls today!

Yes this is the collection agency for Qwest. In my case Qwest Wireless,mine is for service termination charges that I will not PAY. I was informed by Qwest that as of Feburary 01 they would not be providing cell phone service in my area and my contract with them is null and void. but are an authorized reseller for Verizon and if I switched to them I could have a free phone. Verizon service would be 70.00 more a month than what I had been paying with Qwest, it is ilegal to force someone out of one contract and forse them into another. I am sure there will be a lawsuit soon to address this matter, I am sure I am not the only person in Colorado this has happened to.

i work at west****et management and jsut a note when u call in... we do not control what qwest charges you and when they turn it over to us so it u have a problem with the timing take it up with them, dont call and yell at us becuase you owe a bill...
West****et Management regularly violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They harassed my wife and me for debts that we had absolutely no connection to nor owed. The original debtor agency admitted to serious billing mistakes, and West****et Management claimed we had to *prove* to them in a court of law that we didn't owe said debt claims--which is a***nst the law in our state. Furthermore, we asked West****et Management for do***entation that proved in any way that my wife and I were somehow connected to the debt, and they responded that they didn't have to give us the requested do***entation (a***n, a***nst the law). We told a very rude West****et sales rep that we did not owe any debt to anyone whatsoever and that we didn't even own any credit cards (we never have, we always use checks, debit card or money orders or online BillPay to pay our bills, never credit cards which we don't own)! We begged them to stop calling us in the middle of the night, which they refused to do, also probably a***nst the law! Furthermore, they refused to give us any information about the alleged debts they said were leaned a***nst our name and (non-existent) credit, which (after a ton of research on our part) we learned was extremely inflated (bordering on unlawful to the order 50-70 times the original billing mistake, as reported to them). West****et also issued physical repo threats, divulged personal social security numbers to unknown foreign 3rd parties, used deceptive statements sent to our bank, lied to us and our bank, and on top of it all, refused to accurately identify themselves as a United States based company, stating only that they operate remotely out of ****a and Russia as an offs**** virtual corporation, thus evading all US taxes themselves (all untrue). West****et Management also claimed that the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act does not apply to them because they're operated outside of the USA, another filthy lie.West****et Management is a utterly crooked organization, who's CEO is an ex-con who served many years in prison, learned to hone his s****s on scamming and ripping people off while incarcerated, got his degree in law and business while also in jail, and now runs a billion dollar scam with hired criminals who know more about evading the law and exploiting innocent tax-paying citizens with mysterious, harassing phone calls under the protection of the firm's equally-corrupt Regulated Monopoly called Qwest Communications... Best of luck trying to get any of them to obey the law as they're above the very same laws you and I must submit to.

So I went to their website and in the News section, found this info on your phone company (Qwest) as it turns out, the Telco Qwest is buddies with West****et Management since WAM uses a call center setup by Quest, so I find it strange that Qwest can't do a trace on the number you mentioned since they lease the lines that plague you with dropped calls upon your answering the calls at 3AM. We get a call from this number: (757) 209-2010 every night exactly at 3:00 AM. This has been going on for the past 3 weeks. The phone company (Qwest) says they cannot trace the number because it's a proxy redirect originating from ****a or Russia. Our phone rings at 3AM, when somebody awakens to pick it up, it beeps once, then ****s up. If we don't pick up the phone, it will continually ring all night long. The only thing we can do is unplug our phone nightly now before we go to sleep. This is turning into a total nightmare as we're stalked by this mysterious phone number and ***ody can tell us how to escape the calls. We're considering on swit****g our phone number which we've had for 10 years, just to end this 3AM call problem.

I even went and called the number back and talked to a representative at this company and they said my number wasn't in their database. By the way, I'm in Cedar Rapids Iowa (well Marion now), my home plus about 8,999 were flooded in June. Mine, the whole 1st floor was full of water, so I'm sure Qwest, gas, water, and elec companies here are hurting for money.
