I got one and was left a message it was the parking fine office but it could prob be anyone at a City of Nor. extension, and I would not worry about it if they don't leave a voice message. You are fine.

got a call with no message with the same dead air when I called back.  I was thinking it was notification of flash floods.  cats and dogs coming down.

I received a call from a woman from this #. I received a call two other times in January. Today's caller stated she dialed the wrong #.

A man claiming to be a Norfolk officer called me at 7:24 am asking for Crystal Williams.  I know no such person, but he claimed she called him from my number.  When I asked him for information I could use to confirm he was an officer he abrubtly ended the call.

they just called 3 times back to back at 7am so not cool!! My social worker has called me from that number before but this don't make sense, I was wondering does everyone have a case at social services or WIC in norfolk???

My caller ID shows this number twice 8/28 and 9/2 both times after the day hours of City of Norfolk. However, I called the Fire Marshalls office and found that this is a number that the City (any departmetn) can call out on but no one can call the number. I hope that helps you.

just got a call from 7572285441.  It was social services calling for a referral. Someone ahd put me down apparently as a referance.

They left a message for me - it was the Utilities Dept.

Got a call from this number and they left a message regarding my friend's children that are currently in foster care, the call back number she gave me wascomplelty different so it may be a general city of Norfolk number that comes through.

I attempted to call it back, in case it was about our corner-shrubs which need cutting -- got a very unusual noise on the other end, a bit like a car driving on infinite gravel. I'll be surprised if this number really belongs to "City of Norfolk". I just went through the phone directory, and with the exception of a couple of magistrates who have toll-free numbers, the City numbers all have 441 or 664 exc****es. An "Anywho" search also comes up with no results.

This phone number has someone on the other end using it for their own tracking and harrassment system.  If the overall owner of the number (city of Norfolk?) can be located - - the individual doing the calling and harrassing is named Annie - - -

Got a call from this # and tried calling back and just got dead air. Maybe it is so****ing w/ city employees...

I also recently received a call from 757.228.5441 with just ded air on the line.

I think this is a phone notification feature of the city's emergency alert notification service. I signed up when I joined C.E.R.T.Just went to http://www.norfolk.gov/norfolkalert/Login.aspx, logged in and unchecked the phone notification box.

Also got a call from this number. They did not leave a message either. Tried calling it back and I got nothing, no ring, no message, just dead air.
