A repeat caller who I have yet to answer.

The ACLJ stand for American Center for Law and Justice.  They are a Christian law practice who specializes in cons***utional law.

On my caller ID it comes up "Out of Area" and their number.I never answer these calls as everyone of them is from someone I don't know. It is annoying  to let it ring though and they never of course leave a message.I advise everyone to have caller ID and an answering ma****e.

Exactly my experience. They call at least once a day and when I am home and pick up, a ma****e promises to call me a***n. Totally infuriating. I looked them up online and called their Washington DC office and told them to remove my name. This SHOULD be illegal for them to harass in this way.

The "do not call" list only applies to SALES, not non-profits or polls.  I've been on the list since its inception and yet I still get calls from organizations I disagree with.  Nothing you can do about it except whine and complain, I guess.  Whatever works for you.

I feel certain this number belongs to the American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ) operated by Jay Sekulow, a quasi-lawyer/minister seeking monetary donations for all his causes. I have tried various means to be removed from their call list without success.

I want this number blocked from calling me. How can I stop them? They won't stop calling!!

I got a call. They actually have a computer that auto dials numbers, listen carefully for a delay, then u'll know its connecting u to a rep! I own a business and get these all the time. ACLJ is a good thing, just tell them NO, they'll respect that!  They've always been nice to me.

When the phone rings and I answer it but get no answer from w***ver is calling, I immediately **** up because I figure it is a telemarketer call.

Lone Wolf, ACLJ does not have to comply with the do not call list because they are a nonprofit - the law allows nonprofits to call people even if they are on a do not call list, so ACLJ is not violating any law

I have gotten several phone calls, when i answer they **** up.  I am also on the don't call list.  I don't mind answering...i hate when they **** up when i answer!  Rude

Got a call that my phone's answering service picked up.  No one spoke, but I could hear distant talk (though I could not hear the actual words), someone breathing lightly, and the occasional shuffle of paper.  The call lasted at least two minutes.

This outfit is the PITS!  They call constantly, if you answer and say*****o, no one will respond, just blank.  They are professional harrassers!We are suppose to be on the national "DO NOT CALL" List.  They need to be reported and stopped.

I absolutely agree with what ACLJ stands for...they are the an***hesis of the ACLU (Anti-Christian Liberals Union)...but I am tired of getting phone calls from everybody and their brother who want me to donate money.  I simply cannot do it.  Wish I could...but.....this time the phone rang at 8:15 this morning.  I thought there was a law where we couldn't get ****arded by telemarketing calls until 9:00 at least.  Oh well.

The number is a call service hired by the ACLJ. The ACLJ is an evangelical organization that focuses on "the concept that freedom and liberty are universal, God-given and inalienable rights that must be protected." They train law students to protect religious freedom and "safeguard" human rights --- in other words, this is a right-wing organization*****-bent on prea****g their gospel and eliminating abortion. They claim dependence on God "and the resources He provides through the time, talent, and gifts of people who share our concerns and desire to protect our religious and cons***utional freedoms."You can call them back and press "1" to be added to their do-not-call list. It could take as long as 30 days to actually not be called a***n, so you can either ignore their calls or pick up and have some rather stimulating conversations .... especially if your religious and/or political views are different from theirs!
