Call them and as soon as they pickup HANGUP! Give them a taste of their own medicine. They have called several times. I live in CA so they always wake me up and never leave a message. I called them back one morning and they said they have the wrong number! Again call them and hangup!

They get your number from the cellphone carriers since they list your information on your credit reports. I am getting phone calls for someone else who owes some debts and had my new number just months ago.

its a debt collection agency, they are using local telephone numbers to get you to answer your telephone instead of calling on their toll-free 1-800 telephone numbers.

I am receiving numerous calls per day and there is no one there or they do not leave a message. I filled out survey stuff to receive a "free" iPad and I believe this is what I get. There are several more calling with area codes like 302,757,772,484,678,216 and not one of them ever leave a message...I DO NOT answer.Soooo angry at this invasion of my privacy.

I received calls from this number on 11/28 and 11/30/11. No messages were left. If this is a collections agency, they have the wrong number. I have no outstanding debts. There are hundreds of people in the US that share my name. I wish this company and others like them would find the "rightful" owners of their debt and stop calling me !!! I have been getting several calls from "mystery numbers" during the past 3 months. Some of these collection companies use multiple phone numbers, hoping you will pick up your phone when you recognize an area code. There are some "agencies" using automated calling systems that just hang up when you answer, others leave harrassing voicemail messages.

Had a second phone number on my land line that obviously belonged to deadbeats prior to our getting the number. I have continually had collection people calling that land line number, so we disconnected it. NOW I have them call for the "deadbeats" on my cell number. Recov Portfolio is the company out of Hampton, VA.
