This number actually IS from overseas. My cousin is in the Army and she is currently stationed in Germany. I will never let this pass a***n!

My son-in-law is a Marine. He deployed for Afghanistan two days ago and he just called me from this number. He did say that he wasnt in Afghanistan but was very close to there

idk what to do. my husband called me off this number, but my phone WONT accept the charges.

Just wanted to say thank you all for writing in.  I was so confused to have this number come up as I believe 757 area code is norfolk Va, and I used to live there.  I couldnt think of who could possibly be trying to call me.  My fiance is deployed to Kosovo currently, and he calls from various numbers.  This put an end to all the confusion.  Thank you.

I just had a missed call from this # and whn cld bck was discntd or wnt to a dial tone.  There were two similar Numbersannoying

My son, USAF, calls me twice a week, from this number. If you get a call, it could be a family member of yours calling YOU.

Anytime my son calls me while he is deployed the call displays with this number and sometimes with the name DITCO.  As stated previously there is a delay so don't **** up just wait and if it is a wrong number for you then tell our guys and gals how much you appreciate them and wish them a great day.

This number kept calling me and not leaving a message. It happened to be my husband who is in the military using a calling card. He's not overseas, he's actually in the states.

My son who is in the "sandbox" called me and this number was the number that popped up in the called ID. When they call stateside they calls are routed stateside they are patched through to you. There is a delay in the call and the calls can be VERY faint. My hubby can't hear him at all due to the call being faint. I have calls from my son that are patched in from various numbers.  So if you have a love one overseas in the military and this number pops up and it says DITCO answer it.My many Thanks and Prayers are with our military.

My husband is also with FOB Warrior in Iraq.  This is a DSN number (Base to base)

It's anyone using a calling card.. Most likely ones that the red cross give to the troops going overseas..

keep getting ****-up calls from this number....some as early as 7:00 am...but all inthe mornings, never in the evenings.  Never leaves a message, ****s-up when I answer....anyone have any idea who it is?

Hello, all. I am currently in Afghanistan, and I use a calling card to call back home. Out of curiosity, I asked my lady friend what my number showed up as, and she said it was 757-788-8298. So perhaps the calls you're all getting is from somebody using a calling card? Perhaps even a military calling card?Hope this heps some.
